you can select the DLC level from level select menu, developer commentary is almost in every screen and you are able to play with DLC nonlethal character presumably in every level of the game (you can select with char you want to use but not sure if from start on in New Game+)

DLC mission is completely standalone(Dosan's story) available from start, and you can use Dosan in main story levels(it works like skin for main char)
