edit perhaps the title could be updated to indicate a PC release is confirmed.

I don't see a problem with the title. It's not twitter we put "updates" in the titles. It's in the PC section and there's a thread for it. When it's released, there will be [R]. Smile

I didn't say there's a problem, only that it could be improved. Smile

Well Ubisoft has released PC versions of all their main franchises from what I know, some of the spin-off games were mobile or handheld exclusive and such but otherwise they've been fairly consistent with PC releases even if the actual release was at times held back until a bit after the console versions were out. Smile

Also seems you get Origins for free if you buy from UPlay.
(And I assume UPlay is required for this game.)

(Of course pricing might be better from third party sites like Gamersgate or GreenManGaming.)

Well it'll probably be available there as well since most of the Ubisoft games are also available on Steam and several upcoming games seem to have Steam versions but I believe the UPlay client is still required for full functionality even so though the games themselves aren't exclusive to the UPlay web shop, which is probably a good thing. Smile
(EA are the ones that are a bit more restrictive with their client, Origin.)

Origins wasn't wrapped with UPlay as far as I recall. And why would it be? No online MP in it.

Well I wouldn't know for certain but I simply assumed that by now most of the upcoming Ubisoft games will make use of their own client (Orbit/UPlay) even if it's also offered via Steam or maybe even EA Origin since they've also started selling third party games.

Not just for multiplayer functionality but for the UPlay rewards system and recently introduced achievements or just making use of the clients features as a additional form of protection (Requiring a UPlay profile for save game management and such.) but we'll have to wait and see until the game is released.

EDIT: Well I checked and it seems that at least so far Rayman Legends only has a UPlay profile for the X360 edition. Smile

Well it is supposed to have 30 of Origin's levels redone, plus its own content. If we assume it is the same length as Origins, that's pretty impressive. Smile

There's a demo now, Ali213 and 3DM also seems to have "offline" versions available.

EDIT: Seems it uses UPlay.

uPlay has been radically improved over the last few months, you just double click the game icon on Steam and the game launches.

Origin - sure, why no, it "has" to be used for bf and fifa - that's perfectly fine and acceptable to have a fucking app installed so a game connects to servers. But UPLAY??????????????????? (the same fucking moronic shit as origin?) - fuck them, they crossed the line!
