Seriously, fuck this game, i ain't gonna bother playing it until they fix that shit with controls and pogo activation.
I just tried original on NES emulator forth sake of sanity and it never had such issues. What the actual fuck, why it even was shipped so bugged? Imma just replay both NES versions: 1 and 2.
Fuck this game is difficult :( Im happy if i can make it to the chopper in the amazon level without having wasted 2 of my lives
It mostly hard due to bugged controls. I just finished original Moon on "Difficult" and lost only one life due to some experimenting, haha. I'm surprised how many icecream cans enemies drop in original.
The game sure is hard as fuck...the controls are ok but the Pogo shit...THE POGO SHIT..i didn't knew you could stop in mid air while going up by releasing the pogo button X___X ...and sometimes the game's unfair, like
Spoiler:
the amazon's stretchful areas and that tiny space to stop running away from the stones as they fall on you..just so you dont end up falling into emptyneess
On Transylvania at the moment...but not playing now

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

I haven't played that part yet, but I presume you have to jump to the right and just before touching the ground, hit the pogo button and hope that the timing is good enough to use the goat (in its falling phase) as a trampoline to reach the higher step.
