The Gfx in Painkiller are 10 times better . Damn , if you compare those 2 games . SS sucks against painkiller .

User , sorry but i am not stupid , i play eveyday battlefield 2 ( all on high settings) and it works like a beauty .(Fear works like beauty .)

And for the drivers i have the latest drivers .

Runs crap on (well not crap, but it would be a lot better): P4 2.53 geForce 6800GE 256 (Gamers Edition - not sure what it is, I'm guessing it's GT with only 12 pixel pipelines as the rest is the same as GT except the price ) 1280MB RAM VSync was already off - turning it on makes it worse so that's a factor

Runs nice here. 1024x768, AA - medium, Anizo 8x Texture and lightmap quality set to compressed (not enough system and/or video ram), V-sync off, rest at max. However when I turn on HDR (even if I lower everything else) I get extreme choppiness, but it might be caused by old drivers (71.89 - yeah, I know they are old ). System: Athlon64 2GHz/512KB L2 (Socket 754) RAM 512MB DDR 400MHz GeForce 6800NU 128MB (12x1,6xVP) @ stock EDIT: piderman - RivaTuner will tell you the truth.

Runs great with everything on maximum. (excluding vsync) P4 2.6GHz 1500 MB DDR 400 ATI Radeon 9800 Pro This game is a shame for the serious Sam series. The scorpion monsters looked way better in serious Sam 1 and the game play is repetitive and boring (and this is just the demo!). Oh and the new Sam looks gay - the original was much cooler.

You cannot have both HDR and AA enabled at the same time . Not with the current-gen cards. Maybe the new Ati 1800XT will, we see. Runs like a charm here on a 7800GTX with HDR enabled, but i prefer to play without the fucking HDR because playing with no AA is killing me. All those jaggies. Ugly!

It was a bad map to show off the demo. A more open map would have been alot better. Still, this game will own big time in co-op, not singleplayer. This is purely made for co-op and/or multiplay just like the previous games.

Yeah, also works fine on a 3000+ with 6600 256MB and 1GB RAM.
Have everything on maximum, HDR enabled and 1024x768, but get some slowdowns so I'll have to lower some settings later on, but I dont care now cause the demo relly sucked.
Did'nt run even closely to my system on a Sempron 3000+ with GF4 TI4200, so the 6600 is at least way better than that old card Wink

Boring map, very boring monsters, stupid bugs with that laser-door being very difficult to get past (for me and some others).
Hope final is better...specially better maps/monsters.

running 1920x1024 with everything full and hdr on runs smooth as u like on my machine!! amd 4ghz 1gb ocz ram 2 20gb 10k scsi drives 250 sata hd 80gb ide 7800gtx oc 1.4mem 530core on a 32" lcd screen loved it misses the old ss games as theres nothing gr8 out atm apart from bf2 and fahren!!

you might be right but allow me to point out few things that i noticed while playing the demo

1 the demo map contains pretty much all the feature of the gfx options that are included in this game from reflections to HDR(just look at them big globe things or in that dome with the fountain)

2 the demo pretty much show all the aspects of the game play

3 it also show that the game can render lots of things w/o hitting the pc much maybe the map looks small but once you actualy walk around or fly you will notice that its no so small as it seems Smile

in other words this demo was more or less just to show how the game will play and look nothing more its more of a tech demo rather than a game demo

but then again i should agree with other points that you said Very Happy

i think either way we both right? well ok maybe i might be right Laughing

people complaining that it doesnt run perfectly on highest settings might want to... I don't know, TURN THEM DOWN a little to get it to run well. Sounds like the v-sync is the only thing that slows it down. Yes, I am this nerdy Stop by and say hello

Game runs amazing on my system. Im buying this one for sure. Specs P4 3.4 Radeon X800XT 1 GB DDR2 Duel channel Everything Max except no HDR.

German Magazines testet Serious Sam 2 and the first result is 84%, the second 80%! 84% is fucking ok because its a fucking shootergame without any riddles so 84 is ok!

When you are on first moving platform (IIRC) wait one jump, on second try to land on last moving platform and as soon as possible move to solid ground.
