They feel worse than your typical squishy membrane keyboard IMO. Too bad too because the SteelSeries boards are quite well built.

Tsk Squirrelman.

#1: the American spelling is aluminum.

#2: the proper spelling is fucking ALUMINIUM FFS Sad

Also, fuck mechanical keyboards Very Happy
That's the one thing I don't miss about my old PC's. I actually prefer chiclet over all else, most pleasant to type on (which is what I do most). Apple's aluminium wired keyboard is pretty good (USB hub should be on more keyboards). Of course, Cherry do that too: http://www.cherry.de/cid/corded_keyboards_STRAIT_Corded_Keyboard.htm? / http://www.cherry.de/cid/corded_keyboards_STRAIT_BLACK_Corded_Keyboard.htm? - only annoying thing is the *retarded* layout above the arrow keys.

Oh look, I'm a retard lol, ya i know how it's spelled, I never spell the fuckging word right no matter how hard I concentrate lmao

I used that apple keyboard before and I hated it. Felt so uncomfortable to type on. The best none mechanical keyboard I have ever used that I still love is the one that lenovo uses.

I almsot thought about buying it but I wanted to try mech.

They are a bit expensive.

L. Iluminated is a good one, I have it and its great, it sometimes has a problem with to many keys pressed its not a gaming keyboard.

Booooooooooo! grinhurt

Mechanical keyboards are the bees knees my main man, they're the shiznit and I lub 'em.
The main reason for this is because most membran keyboards I've had some of the keys wear out and then get stuck. For example on my old G510 the shift key would become hard to press down and I'd fuck up in games by not being able to press it. Sad

Well the Apple one specifically has a dumbass layout. The actual keys are fine, but obviously meant for Mac usage. Why the fuck Cherry went with their layout I'll never understand.

The IBM keyboard is full of epic win though. Ever since I got my first ThinkPad I've struggled to find anything anywhere near as good. I find the travel time on on proper mechanical keyboards to be too tiresome to work on all day.

Hold on to that keyboard, if that's the condition it's in, that bitch is worth money. Not like, make you rich worth money, but I know a few people who'd probably pay a few hundred for it.
