Click on chapters - > new mission
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Yes, you can.
Just copy-paste bruice's files. (steam_api and steam_api.dll) to game folder.

The Fourth Reich and the Soviet missions can be done within an hour. The last mission where you play as stalker ranger from the Polis can be hour or two long, depending on how you play it, since its non linear.

When I click on a DLC mission the game just crashes. The regular game plays fine though.

usualy the game crashes if you select the other dlc missions not currently released, thats why i said that only the frist 3 are playable..

But I didnt. So your advice didnt help.
Anywhoo, I played and beat the "sandbox" Library DLC and its basically ~90% retread of the library in Metro 2033 with some stuff changed. It took a bit over an hour to beat. I kind of wish Metro Last Light was like this DLC but bigger because I enjoyed it a lot more than the last light campaign.

the library mission is very good, just some horror shit the game needed, also the level was the scariest from the first game

The latest game version is 1.0.0.9 but I don't know what releases or such are available, there's a crack on GCW (Probably from Cs.rin for all I know.) but 1.0.0.5 should allow you to play the DLC.
(One of the patches after that solved some stability issues that were introduced and after that there were some optimizations but I don't know the details.)

Yeah. I really liked it but It felt like streamlined and corridored half-life 2.
Still - better than most shit anyway. Kinda liked it more than first clunky metro.

Oh no, don't get me wrong; I thoroughly enjoy the games, I just mean that they really are boiled down to basics. There's nothing complex about the games at all, nothing you could look at and say "let's strip that out and make it easier for dumbshits" - it's a linear shooter with spectacular visuals and atmosphere, but really, that's it.
