MS why?? I had to install office 2013 for work related reasons today..WTF did microsoft do to it? its horridly ugly!
 Spoiler:

Seriously, what is that? office 2007 I liked, 2010 I could deal with the ribbon thing..but this. its eye stabbingly nasty looking...

Anyone know if you can set color themes on it? I cant seem to find an option other than the blindingly white with nasty fisher price looking blue bar and 'happy friendly' word buttons at the bottom.

It's simple.

Microsoft products are made by engineers.

Apple products are made by designers.

You can't have both.

Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

If you wanted to know my names and emails, just ask me, or ask some of the forum members that know me other than here...or randomly search my posts, it in one of them somewhere.
I didn't blur them out, because I could care less if anyone knows my name, or my work email address, 1000's of people have it already for work as well as 10,000's of spammers from said 1000's of peoples spyware crap grabbing it Razz
and its not like 'dxwarlock@gmail.com' would be hard to figure out from my forum name.

I fail to see how me not caring if people know what my name is, is me not caring about prism..I doubt the govt would have a hard time figuring out my name, since well its on EVERY document I ever send them, my ID, my mailing address, light bill etc..if they are spending all the money to figure out peoples names...they are doing it wrong Razz

hell if you want Ill send you a copy of my outlook pst file from work, nothing in it I would care if people read..if you didnt fall asleep first reading about newspaper software printing jargon..lol

Well so far I found a 'light grey' option, that looks just LIKE white, but with the brightness turned down to about 90%..haha.
look at the huge difference!

but for column color, email grouping header color (like today, yesterday etc) its all pretty much you get what it has..thats it.

I'm really ok with word 2013.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Personally I prefer 2013 more than 2007, 2010 etc..

It's funny how the OS X Office suit is so much more elegant than the Windows version, the main driving force behind Windows sales, and the biggest Microsoft point behind Windows 8 and Windows RT marketing campaigns. Laughing
