last game i bought that i found was worth the full price was C&C Red Alert... before that was C&C..

that was the full price ones that was worth it.. and that is a few yrs ago now... since then its been just utter shit they have released.. Wink

HL2 with the back catalog games. Besides been addicted to CSS it's nice to have another route to buy your games. In my country a retail package for HL2 would cost $75 on the game release with just HL2, CSS and DM. Although, I bought the gold package the silver one costs $60 and includes 16 games with the upcoming DOD:S. Since the topic it's all about "buying a game and worth it" the satisfaction and the game experience, durability sums up everything. I hope more companies adopt this kind of distribution as if it's cheaper. Not nessecarilly like steam with the updates but at least the online verification and download(and price Smile)

I've only bought 1 game in my life..
And that was Gran Turismo 4 for PlayStation 2..

It was worth it.
But now I got a chip for my PS2 too, so no need to buy more games there.. Razz

Last games I bought that was really worth the cash were Half-Life 2 and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. Both were about €20, which I found a decent price for both of them. And no, I don't have a credit card, otherwise I would have bought them from play.com already. Razz

I heard someone say Temple of Elemental Evil. I have that game too, but I still haven't opened it yet. Razz

Operation Flashpoint

5 years after release, the sp and mp is still worth every cent, thanks to the big mod scene!

Apart from that I'd say Deus Ex 1, the most immersive game ever made (together with from ofp... Very Happy )

Pro Evo 4 for both Xbox , PC ( was a fiver ) and ps2 .Bought on Xbox For live really , Huge Disappointment in that case.

But taking it round to mates who don't have modded Machines . Worth its weight in gold Smile

Also HL2 . Occasionally Play CS:S Smile

Jedi Academy - well worth the money, yet not as good as Jedi Outcast
Halflife 2 - well worth the money
Guildwars - Kinda getting board of it, but still worth the cash.
BF2 - Shelved right now, but still worth it.

i think the last one i payed for was half life 2 and the funny part is that i finished the game with the "anon original copy" befor i had my legal copy Wink but the counter strike is the real deal Very Happy and also call of duty that still installed and i do still playing it on the net and can't wait for cod2 to get and also i guess that fear will be great mp game..altough the mp beta sucked but i played the sp demo and i loved it and can see the pontential of mp game under this engine so..cod2 and fear are my next target and also concidering bf2:)

for PC:

Battlefield Vietnam - bought 2 copies for around $10 each on Amazon
Ground Control 2 - again, got 2 for $10 each

for GC:

Resident Evil 4, only game i have paid $40+ for and still feel satisfied
Tiger Woods 2k5 - grabbed it for $9, total bargain

BTW, most of my gaming cash goes into Board Games now... screw all this copy protection crap!

Half Life 2 made me feel like the purchase was worth it. Splinter Cell CT was another however that I didn't feel ripped off. Imagine the poor person who paid for Shady Brook or something like that. I might pass around a jar to help the victims of that game.
