So I turned 18...
Legally, I am allowed to buy cigarettes in the United States and most of the civilized world...
But no. Not only do you have to BE 18 (and present identification that proves it), you also have to LOOK 18 for most stores to sell you a fucking pack of cigarettes.
This isn't the first, second, or even tenth time I've encountered this:
I walk into a corner store and ask them about the deals they had on cigs (I'm looking for the 2/$8 deals, it's bad enough the fucking government's charging what seems to be a 90% tax on them, up to the point that cigs here cost $7 a pack.) One shop keeper gives me the shittiest 2/8 cigs he has, which he usually charges $7.50 for, and says he has nothing else while I'm looking at my fav cigs also in the 2/8 aisle. So I tell him to go fuck himself and go across the street. Guess what do I get?
"what deals do you have on cigarettes?"
"no deal, regular price"
"I can see the 2/8 packs over there"
"no sale, regular price"
"ok, what are the cheapest cigs you have"
"six dolla"
"I can see the advertisement for $5.40 right there"
"that kind 5.40, six dolla"
"I can see the deal packs... the guy before me just bought one"
"no deal six dolla. You have ID?"
"yes" [shows id]
"ok, six dolla"
"for 2 packs?"
"six dolla one pack"
"fuck this"
Q: What the fuck is wrong with these people?!

It only gets worse when trying to cut it. I will quit it when I'll be 99% sure I will cut it.

I feel your pain Accelleron. I used to go through a lot of beef like that, not as much about cigs, but l8tr on with with booze. My simple advice; quit while you are young, lung/throat cancer is not a funny business. If that's not an alternative for you, and you plan to keep on smoking, at least save yourself a shitload of money and buy cigs online. I thought the same way some time ago and trust me it's no way that you could save it ...
Maybe if you put daily amount that you paid for fags in a jar (lol I remind me the simpsons:D) you could save some cash ...
But I bet you would spend it on beer/drinks/cola girls etc ...
Don't think about it anymore  it will piss you off more ...

its so funny u said that man...thats why, well one of the reason's, I started smokin...to increase the weed blaze...lemme tell ya..that is such bs. I mean, if u dont smoke or smoke like once a month, ur gettin a tobacco high off the cigarette, its not really increasing the chronic buzz...and if u smoke regularly, its pointless..well, in terms of increasing ur buzz |

Isn't the age req for alcohol in Denamrk 16? I was there when i was 16 and bought a whole lot of beer. |
buying alcohol/tobaco is no big deal... The legal drinking age here is 21, and I've got 3 stores that'll sell me beer, plus 2 connects that'll buy me anything I want. That's not mentioning the fact that most russian stores won't even id you if you speak russian fluently (russians tend to trust russians here, in most cases.) The issue is being able to legally buy.

Wtf is wrong with EU... glad i norway aint in that shit... we aint alowed to have snuff then...
and btw.. if you think the agelimit is to fucking high.. move to denmark... 16 on all kind of alcohol and smoke... but they are in eu.. so no (snuff)
