Depends on the game really, IAPfree is awesome for most things but if PvZ2 has any kind of server check to verify receipt or authentication, it's likely IAPfree will fail.

what the fuck.. so you can't even get the most basic plants without paying money? or can they still be unlocked by playing the game?

If anyone has a jailbroken iphone/ipad, you should be able to find the game on AppCake or AppAddict, otherwise you can go down a more complicated route with a non-JB phone by creating an account at itunes Australia. Been playing for a bit, not encountered any pay-to-win yet, though from reading that R thread, seems I will soon enough.

And in any case, just as there are donut hacks for Tapped Out, I envisage something similar for this.

There are already working hacks, though havent used any yet. Gonna play through it first, which seems to be no problem without buying anything. Im at about 50% of the game now.

Tablet/phone version is available on Apple store. Free to play.

Bear in mind that the image posted above shows plants from the previous game you can purchase - I think these are all optional and not needed to complete any level I've encountered so far.

Buyable plants are indeed optional, and not needed to have fun and play through the game. Though you can crack the in app purchases quite easily...

I wonder why a big title like pvz has no better security measures. Other companys showed that its possible, like Supercell.
