In ways they are, but the console gaming is so retarded, they are willing to pay full price and then pay EVEN MORE  On hurrdurrsoles, it's "paysomemoremium".

what the fuck are you going on about? pc games are also full price and then they charge for dlcs, and many pc gamers gladly buy those dlcs.
and honestly, full price + dlc is still 100x better than horrible abysmal freemium system.

Uhm, sales on PC are miniscule compared to consoles. These ridiculous trends only come to the PC after the hurrdurr morons pave the way. Of course PC has sheep also, but they are just a lot fewer. That's why a lot of companies do not release DLC shit on the PC, because it would sell so bad, it's not worth the added investment in server cost and code development.

no, they didn't release PC DLC in the past because they haven't had easy way to distribute them. now that steam, origin etc support DLC all games have paid DLC on PC just like durrsoles.

In order to support Steam's DLC, they need to have Steamworks integrated into the game. Not a big deal, but some just don't bother. I agree though, if they have an easy method to distribute their shitLC, they should, as long as there are morons to pay.
