btw game runs just fine on old gfx cards

i7 2600k, 8gigs ram, old 4850 = 60 fps, textures max, shadows max, anizox16, without AA, with AA its getting that kinda slow-motion mode, it doesnt even lag - its just slowmotion lol

fxaa tool didnt work, displayed error that game requires direct 9.0 lol, fraps overlay works just fine.

btw scorpion fatality and kitana x-ray work JUST FINE, no bugs/"censorship" whatsoever, everything is displayed nicely.

Wonder why german and italian localization files are with separate manifest files. All others come at once, but these two are separate and not downloaded with main game (they are few KB only) Probably because its restricted in Germany for DE ,but why italian?

cutscenes in storymode work fine as well, tho they lack quality, definitely not fullhd (i would doubt they`re even 720p) and audio during those scenes is compressed as fuck (tho on normal speakers its good enough, on headphones it does suck)

as i expected kb controls work fine, tho menus are little inconsistent - for example pressing esc doesnt always bring you back to the previous/pause screen but whatever, gameplay itself works flawlessly.

overall its a pretty decent port, could be expected that they wont remake cutscenes to the full hd resolution, but optimization/performance is great, textures look definitely sharper than console version (tho again it would not make a big difference when played on good tv screen from 2-3 meters)

Well, after a long download I tried it. Game looks gorgeous, runs like a dream, 60 fps @ all times. And I don't know about fraps but the MSI Afterburner overlay works perfectly here.

However, is it me or the tutorial is unbeatable? I keep trashing Sektor but the moment I get his health to deplete, mine (Sonya) goes quickly to zero and I die, then it's "Failure". I tried even quitting the game and launching again, it just keeps happening :\

EDIT: nevermind, i wasn't paying attention to the bottom of the screen Razz

i`m using simillar binds to mk4, it just kinda emulates button placement on gamepads:

arrows for movement + 2 first rows, Q W E R and A S D F, for basic fighting you only use 4 buttons, and those 4 on the sides are binded to additional stuff:

W E - fists
S D - kicks (or otherwise, kicks on the top and punches at the bottom)

rest on the sides of those main 4 buttons are just L1-2, R1-2, just like on gamepad

Q R - R1 L1
A F - R2 L2

R for blocking (closer, frequently used) , Q for flip stance (not much used) = this way you can easily make xray moves by pressing button on both sides of your 'main' combat buttons, so Q and R makes x-ray, also any special + r makes enhanced, quite easy.

A and F - R2 and L2 = tag and throw

thats the general idea, you place movement on arrow keys and emulate button position on the gamepad with other keys. few rounds and anyone can find suitable bindings for himself. i`ve played shitton of hours in mk4 and other fighting games so it doesnt really bother me, as long as game doesnt use 360degree movements on arrows to pull of some specials.

back/accept buttons seem to be unbindable - G and J by default, little bit annoying but whatever, you can always get any gamepad that looks like ps2-3 one.

LOL, get a damn controller the way these games are meant to be played. You pc guys pirate all your games you should at least be able to afford a gamepad.
