So how is Flashback then? A good remake? It appears that mention of the PC version has been removed or glossed over, it's not in the official trailer/reveal and nor is it on Wiki. Only a couple of sites are saying PC version at all Sad

It looks/sounds like a cross between the original Flashback and one of my all-time favourite XBLA titles; Shadow Complex.

It feels like Shadow Complex but the platforming plays like the old PoP.

Gfx, atmosphere and style reminded me of shadow complex as well. Yet, there is that good old retro feeling.
Anyways, Flashback and Max are by far the best XBLAs iv played this year. As iv said before XBLAs are where the 360 shines Smile

Yeah, Marlow Briggs Crying or Very sad

Pretty close to the end I get a game breaking bug and there is nothing to be done. Its one of those no "manual save" games. And no chapters either Sad

Pretty sad, because the game was a lot of fun.

Sad

But the rest are fine right? I'm particularly looking forward to Max The Curse of the Brotherhood.

Is Max really a complete game? It starts on level "2-3" without any intro and there's a DEBUG entry in the Pause Menu.... mmmm.... I wouldn't want to ruin it by playing an incomplete/unpolished build...

Max is fine Smile No major problems in any of the games except Blood knight, but that might get fixed by disabeling fakelive.

Ok, it starts on level 2-3 because it's a demo Very Happy you have to unlock it (just click the DEBUG: Unlock full game" from the main menu... duh Very Happy)

However it's definetly a debug build: you can press "select" to jump to the next checkpoint or skip levels from the main menu. Also there is often a slight audio/video de-sync during cutscenes, but nothing too annoying. Some audio crackling here and there... let's say it's not very "polished", but it seems to be playable.

its farcry 1 PC version not that predator thing with LOD so LOW its lulz
none improvements more lower expectations but this is pnt , it has lag , no sych with lips , sounds a missing , temp makeshift gui did i say low lod

same as Flashback you can finish it but the original version does not have sound in cutscenes , but then again they picked then SNES version LULZ not the SUPERIOR SEGA-CD that has CD-audio and 3D cutscenes or the Amiga version

It's a f2p game from what I saw, or if not f2p it pretty heavy on IAPs. So don't bother even with a gold account.

Finally had time to finish Max, great game, highly recommended! And I can confirm you do NOT need to skip any sequence to finish the game, all puzzles are solvable, even in the debug build.

So it's a sequel of The Scourge Project...or just the third episode?

Either way,the first game(or more like the 2 first episodes) was very mediocre at best...even I couldn't finish it. :/
