Hi Remy. Yes, I did solve the problem and had completed the DLC too. If I remember correctly, I had to obtain (and install) DmC.Devil.may.Cry.Update.1.incl.DLCs-RELOADED first and then the DLC.

Boneleech - i`ve just finished it, nothings fucked about new dmc, great combat system, great level/boss design, best ost (Combichrist/noisia), many various weapons, secrets, unlockables, no bullshit puzzles, few difficulty options for everyone to choose from. and its also great pc port with suprisingly good controls and amazing optimisation.
4 bored me, didnt finish that one.

To be honest, all the fuss over that one time he says "Fuck you" at the beginning of the game is pretty fucking ridiculous, you're trying to see DMC5 as the "derp" version of DMCs when it's really not that bad.. The ammount of swearing isn't that high during the rest of the game, which is making me doubt people actually played it, or the previous iterations to the end.
If you'd noticed, Dante is pretty retarded in every DMC too, with cheesy catchphrases that only Japanese game devs can come up with. If anything, it's as pathetic as in DMC5. I remember facepalming quite hard at most of the dialogues, DMC4 with the Nero/Kyrie thing being the worst.
I miss the targeting system too, but it can be dealt with.. as for the weapon system.. It adds some challenge I guess ? I don't like it very much either, but I can't see why it's "boring".

lol. played on pc, i didnt care about targeting system in a single second of the game. combat system is fluid as fuck, if you have pulling/close-up system why you need targeting system instead? cant you handle few enemies on the screen and you need CONSOLE targeting system so much? pc master race ftw.
as for dialogs/action dunno if you know lol but dmc games were always over the top and you`re whining about few 'fuck you' dialogs in this kind of game, damn.
i`m well over 20 and few things seemes always downright stupid to me - people who dont understand something like genre/sub-genre and kids trying to bring 'age' argument over the internet, rotfl. its the same thing with movies - you dont go for Expendables expecting deep dialogues, complex story and character development, but alywas half of the population seem to dont get it rotfl.
i`ve played all dmc games, and i dont play them expecting something which this IP isnt. i`ve wrote all the stuff new dmc does well so i wont bother writing it again.

pretty much this. but i didnt "facepalm" at dialogs because i understand DMC for what it is, cheesy, over-the-top, ridiculous action brawler. also without targeting game is very easy on normal (comparing to lets say dmc3) so i dont know how anyone could really miss that system.

I played DMC and got over how new Dante acted/looked. But I still think it was wrong choice. Most other aspects of that game were also mediocre/average, but overall I still had fun playing it on and off over period of 2 months. Given that I don't think I'm biased/butthurt. Still, I think that picture is really lame and not funny.
As to your question where to get funny pictures about games, I have no idea. I'm not hunting for them. I saw some gifs about microsoft/sony consoles during E3 here on nfohump. Some of them were funny. (And I'm not saying everything on reddit is bad/not funny. But amount of upvotes is not relevant to the quality content posted. Only thing it's good for sometimes is filtering out spam posts.)

Honestly I see DMC 5 as the Michael Bay of a Devil May Cry game 50% of the time, the other 50% is more Zack Snyder. What that means is that 50% is retarded and 50% pretentious. 100% of the time it is all visuals no substance.

The combat system of dmc was extremely lacking and like it was thrown out in 3 days. Aside from the lame hooks and pulls were just a gimmick, while on the subject of combat; the AI was stupid and predictable compared to other dmc games. Higher difficulties just added moar hp and more blue/red crap.
