I dont think its possible to make a Tagés clone
They need to be cracked individually, takes some time but it should be definitely possible
And I suppose as Tagés has those crafty little protection blocks where the game stops like in the middle and tells you to buy the game, the group releasing it will have to finish the game first to assure its been cracked completely...

Until then... I'll cope with the xbox version
Rolling Eyes

(so lucky to have a console, so I could at least play a bit SC: Chaos Theory)

Can't they use the same method like the game Echo. To emulate the twin-sectors with the prog tetris

The game only has 1 story and it doesn't have several storylines with 'every' action you do.
You can replay chapters when you finish it and do things differently but the changes are not that big. As I said in my post, it's far less paths to take than what we thught after the demo. I have replayed most scenes that gives you different story progression, and the time is around 7h with all that, so the different paths do not add up much when it comes to hours of gameplay.
But like I said, it is still an awesome game as long as you can stand the insane amount of button sequenzes. Smile

It has multiple endings though, so the different choices must equate to something.

I love it when people post "it's been cracked by ______ and will be out soon" and days go by and nothing. If you do not know anything and you have no good sources then don't post bullshit.

I guess that the trick used by tetrisemu on Echo for Tages protection works for CD but is harder to implement for DVD Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

i really liked the game until you get to the apartment where you have to survive the "winds", i played the xbox version, and you had to hit left and rifght in so quickly to survive, and when you survived that you had to do it again, or you would get pushed back to the former attempt, now i have a first generation xbox controller and left and right there have to be pushed really far in to get registered , 3 instances of this right after eachother made me throw the game in the garbage bin Twisted Evil
Maybe the pc version is better?
i doubt i would play through this game more than once though, as the storyline isn't imho good/surprising enough to be played through twice

Epsilon, that was definitely the most frustrating part of the game. Since I couldn't assign the "track and field meter" to my gamepad, I had to alternate between the gamepad and the keyboard - tres difficile!

One is behind some sheets of metal on top the staircase. You probably found him. The other is down the alley to the characters left of that (assuming you stand on top of that balcony facing to the end part - opposite the staircase)

it's difficult to get the positioning right. There is a box or something that sticks out. Go up to it and use first person view to have a look around and then focus on the boy and go back to thirdperson view to talk to him.

I think the game is really sweet.

Unfortunately I really, really, really, really, really... hate the action sequences (whether they are the plot driven kind or the side plot kind). It could have been more natural or something - let us have some input maybe. I just find it tiring.

And as Palle points out clearly - you'll be staring at the screen burning your retinas out in this game. It's not nice at all.

Other than that though it is very enjoyable.

Doesn't live up to my expectations, but sets a nice precedent for the future of adventure/movie games and at the end of the day it's a great ride to be a part of.
