Well I passed it after a few more attempts, the questions are a bit modernized compared to the original but they can still be challenging, especially outside the US albeit Google or similar can probably be used to bypass the questions easier. Very Happy

EDIT: Oh and in this remake Larry has or er at least he had a brain. Very Happy

Holy shit they did change quite a few things.... I'm actually stuck.

EDIT: Finished. Yeah its still really short. But its quite funny, especially the comments Larry makes on basically everything.

Just beat it. Got stuck on one part for quite a while, and on another due to a "return to scene" gimmick, but overall the puzzles were fair and made sense. However, I'm very disappointed that they didn't bring the original LSL7 narrator back (Neil Ross) - the new guy just doesn't sound right.

Overall though, I'm happy with the results of my $15 pledge (although I do think their costs were WAY overinflated for what they added) and look froward to the remake of LSL2 (which they're already working on supposedly).

Just FYI - there's a nice little nude easter egg reminiscent of LSL7....

Thanks for the feedback and screens guys, seems like the remake is really faithful and well-done..with the old-school gameplay preserved (most important aspect). Will try it tomorrow.

Yeah just use save/load and get to about 1000$. More you don't need.

My 16:10 screen doesn't like 16:9 content. Any fix for 16:10 users?

Unfortunately, windowed mode worked just fine for me though at 1366x768 or what it was again, wonder why they don't support 16:10 fully.
(Unity engine supports it, I'm unsure where the settings are stored again but it might be the Windows registry somewhere I didn't check before I finished the game, it's pretty short even with the bonus content or if you are exploring the areas for more humorous comments from the narrator.)

Gamersgate (All DRM free versions?) version doesn't have a option for subtitles either but from what I've seen in videos the Steam version has subtitles albeit it's a very minor complaint.

Didn't really like the game. controls are annoying. After a few hours I kept thinking: they didn't have to remake it if this is the result.

Ah well, good that some people enjoyed it at least. I know I did with the original.

So the author basically says it's as awesome as the original was.

TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"

A review of the uber-misogynistic LSL made by a woman, that was inevitable wasn't it xD
