Will you blame the crack? |
Why would I?? Have I blamed anything for anything so far?
You are a bipolar, you can't really decide on what side you want to play.
"Okay, I'll break this down real easy for you, so you can keep up.
1. I played the beta. The beta had awful performance.
2. Every single report and benchmark and scrap of evidence thus far shows the final copy performs just as poorly as the beta did.
With those two facts in mind, please, do explain the incentive for me to try the final version? It's obviously just as broken as the beta was and thus pointless wasting my time. In fact, don't bother, just like this broken-ass piece of crap game; I won't waste any more of my time on you either Wink"
1. Beta. (not saying release is any better)
2. Reports make games fun? Your opinion was that because it won't reach 60 fps its crap. ( which very well may be the case)
But, I just can not see how anyone can make a serious call, moan or put down a game they have not even tried. At least the argument had credibility IF you actually had played the game.

Once again, I can point out that a game's performance is crap while not having that affecting my overall opinion of the game.
Vanilla Skyrim and Dead Island come to mind (hopefully it improved for both on the long run).
Now that I think about it, the person who has insisted so far on the "performance is crap therefore the game is crap" is you, accusing the others of having that opinion.

So I did the auto-detect and then a performance test. Avrage FPS was around 43 but in the game it does feel smooth, at least the first couple of missions.
I'm not that impressed with the visuals (/perfomance ratio) tho since it looks quite a lot like CoH1. o.O

the performance didn't influence by opinion of the game at all. During the campaign, you hardly ever feel it anyway (may be different in MP however, where probably more stuffis going on).
BUT,
from the couple missions i played (5 or so, probably gonna finish it, since i am bored as hell), it looks and feels like another CoH1 expansion. Expect its now 7 years later and it feels like a cheap cash-in. The game could've been made by a team of 2-5 modders. heck, in 7 years, 1 guy could have done it trice ...
And that's not acceptable. Especially since they have the DoW2 engine, which this surely isn't using (or with all the old assets lol).
This is clearly a cash-in game for relic, hoping to sell a lot, because of the "fame" of the first one.
add: probably Sega pulling a fast one here.

obviously not. Pretty sure XP does not work and can't even make skrimish game against AI :\ (I think)

So I've finally managed to download this (max details):
(i2500k@4.3Ghz + gtx570..not exactly new but not a peasant rig either )
Setting the AA on low and physics on medium appear to be the best ways to improve the average framerate for me (~40fps) whilst keeping decent IQ. I find it playable that way, but far from being optimal since it also stutters from time to time.
A damn shame..considering that the graphics are only slightly better than CoH's. At least I hope the Campaign is decent (only thing that I'm interested in).

Interinactive, yeah, I had to force AFR2 to get it to work with two cards, but it glitches the snow out. I guess that's related to the ColdTech thing. It's not playable with multi-GPU in any way I've tested, though (I'm only able to roughly benchmark how it would perform if it worked with ~72% scaling).

Am I the only one who is unimpressed?
I think the original CoH and expansions are better.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
