Quick thoughts on the game after a few skirmishes/whaterver:
What a utter POS. Runs like shit, Looks and feels like a bad mod for the original COH.
also, herp derp that drm.. er online profile and unlock bullshit - im a sad pirate. Cant even play a fuckin skirmish.
oh and also: the russians sound like germans.

I honestly don't think it's as bad as people are dramatizing. I know i don't have the power to max it, so i have my settings to next to the highest settings and a few options a step below that. My fps is completely fine in regards to practical requirements. I don't give a shit about "Hey, i need to see 60 Fps so i can't play the game"
In my experience just now trying; those who say it's unplayable either has relics in this casing that might fit better in a museum or are simply jumping on the train as people here often have a tendency to do.

But yeah, it's not really a question of "you don't need 60 fps to play this" but a question of where the fuck does all the power people are throwing at this game on their systems go?
And no other way to put it, absolutely shit optimization.

And i agree completely. As long as those who makes shit ports and bad optimalizations are targeted, and not those who takes a step further into PC graphics in games which is progress, and progress is good

hey don't get me wrong, the game isn't "bad" imho, because of it slow downs (when having fires on the screen). I can live with that. Its everything else that's "bad".
It really feels like another coh expansion. Nothing in it warrants its long development cycle or anything. Its just a full priced addon campaign.

Ugh, playing arma 3 at 30 fps is a torture, when its at +-60 it looks beautiful and feels great, when its down to 30 even the input feels sluggish. Ive always wondered how people cant notice the 30 fps difference.
Even in COH 1 having low fps around 30 felt.... and looked, weird, compared to 60, in an RTS at that.

It does seem really weird that they basically did a professional full-retail version of something that exists - in a seemingly more complete fashion - in a free mod. It's a waste of dev money, surely?

so to save in game u have to have the bought one with legit key? since i got a padlock on the savebutton etc and cant press save.. hmm

played it for a bit, meh... Can't play the AI unless it's in the theatre of war.? Can't set up skirms against the AI? They made it this way? WoW.
