I really don't ask for much in a game, and a free game at that. But this was uninstalled faster then any other game I care to remember. Wow this one was really, REALLY bad. Looks like it was done back in 98 with Ms Paint.

"Shady Brook is an interactive horror "

And the first horror is the graphics. It starts out with this blue 3d car model that MUST have come from one of those free 3d model websites. They torture you by making you watch it drive down the lowest resolution road (freeway?) ever created with grass that looks like random green noise.

The wheels don't spin, the front wheels don't turn, and the car fishtails everywhere instead of driving like a normal car.

Then you are met by the 2 gayest-looking (and I mean homo, no freaky) characters in the history of gaming, with the voices to match.

That's as far as I got, and I'm going to have nightmares for the rest of my natural life. I'd say the 'horror' part of the game is a huge success.

Nice mini review aladrinkelahn Laughing

I played the game briefly and have to agree its hideous, the guy that developed the game should do himself a favour and hook up with a decent amateur graphic designer/modeller/sound engineer and website designer and fix all of the obvious problems with the game. At the moment hes wasting story writing and puzzles on a game which is only going to reach a very small hardcore fanbase due to the way it looks.

I thought you guys were being harsh on Squad Assault Second Wave sure its not the best looking game graphically but it has the makings of a good game with this however spot on....its basically shite. Smile

If I said no, would you believe me? I feel so gay for admitting, but I not only downed it, I burned it before trying. I am writing the company and asking for my 10 cents back.

I asked the same question after looking at it for 3 seconds. It's probably due to alot of speech files. BELIEVE ME it's not because of the gfx. If you want a good laugh, or a look into the gaming past, feel free to down and enjoy.

No, I don't think Jesus endorsed this or had ANYTHING to do with it. God would have slapped him if he had.
