Yep one of my biggest beefs with this "game". I still love playing it for the story alone though. In reality choices have VERY minimal impact on the story.

Agreed and I hope they improve this aspect in the next season, because other than this, it's so damn good.
I enjoyed it much more than the TV series, which I found respectively good(S1), passable(S2) and only ok(S3)..and I don't like the direction that it's taking. :<

I loved the game, but it really is just an illusion of choice (I played through it twice making some drastic different decisions) . I hope for season 2 they manage to change that and make choices really count.

Like every other TWD episode. It would always take me around an hour and half (or two) to finish each of the five episodes. So, I'm not surprised, let alone shocked.
