i just got this game and i just finished installing sims 2 and it worked fine, but when i finish installing nightlife it asks me to update some stuff from cd4, it updates a bit but when it gets to effects.package it always says error and uninstalls the game, wtf is going on?? Mad Evil or Very Mad

The readme suggests turning off virus protection during the install if there's problems, and that worked for me.

goddamn it Evil or Very Mad now when i put in cd4 it doesnt even start downloading anymore, just says "unable to copy from disc" out of all the cds it had to be fuckin #4
