Watched the directors cut of Iron Sky, the added content improved the movie (atleast for me)
Worth checking out i think.

Man of Steel aka Snyder's wet dream 2 - 5.5/10
Just got back from the cinema. And Zack Snyder once more proves me that he isn't a good director. He is Bay's younger brother, a pozer who fills his movies with spectacular mush but without any soul.
I enjoyed new Superman more in the first, stinking of pathos part. Probably because you couldn't fill it whole with the explosions and CGI's. Main plot, if you could call that the Zod's story part wasn't that bad. Hell, I could even root for him. He had good reasons for doing what he did. But then the plot is starting its downfall, getting filled with plotholes and deus ex machinas.
I can't say anything bad about the actors, Zod is menacing in that Shannon's way, Caville is great superman, and even Russell Crowe doesn't suck in this one plus he lost some weight for it, that fat slab.
Why the mediocre score. Well it's because how the action was shown, the ultra shitty style of camera work. Wild camera zooms, face framing for 3/4 of the screen. Superman's first flight scene is just pure crap, its watching a poor CGI with guy lying on green table and rolling to the sideways with his face taking 99% of the screen. The second part of the movie feels like some shitty console beat'em. Now and then I was waiting for QTE to popup on the screen, to press X to avoid an attack.
I'm pretty sure that Zack was just shitting himself in his directors chair to finish the booooring origin story and start the mindless symphony of destruction. The whole second part is probably called "fuck the civilians" in the script. Somehow everyone including Superman and the military just doesn't give a fuck about civilians. "The city is not evacuated, bomb it to hell and beyond". They probably die by the thousands by the end of the movie. But that might be because the civilians are dumb as fucks here, military comes to town with heavy weaponry - lets hide in the buildings by the main street where the fighting takes place; omg something is destroying the city lets stay in the building and watch.
Laurence Fishburne unfortunately doesn't die.
The romance between the Superman and Lois was probably forced by someone higher up. It just doesn't stick, suddenly they are in love. No fucking development of the relationship, it's just bam we are in love.
There is one funny scene in the movie and it's not funny.
Plus stasis chamber that look like alien/cthulhu buttplug.

waste of time. a so called thriller lol. 0 suspense. just some depression, pills, artsy camera shots and drawn out scenes.

It's pretty good. Law and Mara are very good in it and the protagonist acts like a human being.
8 out of 10 dentists prefer zipfero to competing brands(fraich3 and Mutantius)!

Clean, Shaven - 10/10
Absolutely marvellous portrait of a schizophrenic mind, with great actors, a very clever script and some pretty memorable sequences (the last, incredibly touching scene on the beach stands out in particular).
Bonus for being one of the (very) few movies which include a scene that was so disturbing I literally couldn't watch it (the guy removing his own fingernails with a knife).
Criminally overlooked masterpiece.

Ace Attorney - 4/10
I watched half of it. I don't think the movie can work, at least as far as western audiences are concerned. Everything is too awkward. I laughed a lot at the absurdity of how some game elements are presented though!!
But everything else simply made me want to replay the game instead of finish the movie.

The middle part felt kind of flat (corruptionzzzzz!1 ) but all in all I really liked this one.
Probably because I could really identify with parts of it.

This is not a zombie movie.... nope.... not the traditional one anyone. Felt much more like Contagion to me than anything else, and I really did not enjoy Contagion at all. Wasn't terrible, but definitely not what I was expecting.

Pretty funny, really more stupid and slapstick comedy than anything. Some very funny scenes that are just pure stupidity... and that ending really?! Lmao, still enjoyed, gave me lulz.

Better than all the previous ones, rock was good. This one will probably age a lot better than the previous 4. Need to see 6 now, which I've heard good things about...

watched 2 fast 2 furious (it was on tv, i was cold, and i couldnt be bothered getting up, so meh)
not going to rate, because why bother, but one thing that i noted when i first watched it, and again it even now it still stands out...
the main 'hero' cars... they were the most fuck-ugly things i have ever seen. terrible colours, terrible designs, boring crappy cars... what the fuck?! its a movie ABOUT the cars, so you'd think that'd be the one thing theyd actually take effort to make look nice. its always really confused the heck out of me, as to why they went with such incredibly ugly cars in that movie. the skyline was the only hero car in the film that looked pretty decent, but it had a really boring colour scheme.
and its not even a budget issue... pretty sure they had more money to work with than the average street racing douchebag...
