How is the game? It sounds pretty interesting but I know it had a rough start.

Would you say it's more PVP oriented?

I don't know mate, no cash to get it. The vids always made it look great and many people rave about it, the modern day setting is certainly unique and looks fun too - though I'm not all that sure how I feel about a level-less system.

I tried it a long while ago, it isn't that bad and felt well polished. I'm not really into mmo's and it wasn't all that special for me, and back then it still had a subscription fee which is pretty much instant skip for me Smile

Secret World is not bad, just poorly optimized and 40gigs.

PvE is the primary focus. PvP is on seperate arenas.

For $15, it's good deal.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

the reason is ti and 560,, that is not a gaming card.. its low cost and these days anything under $300 mark can have trouble in todays games.. its just the way it is,, Ill give you example,, 6 year old card 4870 1gb ati I still use and it played secret world with no issues.

What the...? Moose, the 560ti absolutely destroys the 4870. "Not a gaming card" - are you serious? The difference between them in real-world gaming tests is pretty much double and then some Very Happy

Ran it just fine with my 460 at the time, 560Ti wouldn't have any trouble, unless you tried to max it and expect 60fps.

yeah sorry maybe I did not make myself that clear, of course anything above an older model card should be more powerful, but I mean generally its a known fact that any cards over the years realeased that are for example .. 4850 5500 5600 7500 9500 9600 <<< see the numbers.. they always put the budget cards in those area of numbers, its not changed even today.

its all relative to the game releases of today though, for instance a 560 ti card mentioned for in say darkfall gets bad performance/frames over like my card that is constant 60fps locked.. and no issues..

the 560ti may be of better or so called bigger speeds and so forth but they dont run as great as higher number cards in that range, its known man Very Happy admit it Smile do it do it now!..

Ill wait for jbeckman or someone who can give a viewpoint he plays with tons of cards and is active on hardware forums.

Very Happy

lol darkfall anyother game where I see people whining about performance and they have budget labled card numbers.. you seem to think its a joke, its the way it is, why do you think there ARE different models.. its to cater to people with less money.

Moose, you are absolutely unequivocally wrong about the 560ti. nVidia consistently puts out excellent x6xx cards;

6600GT? Fantastic!
7600GT? Fantastic!
8600GT? Egh.. but most people seemed to loved it.
9600GT? Rebadged 8800GT, so; fantastic!
GTX260? Fantastic!
GTX460? Fantastic!
GTX560? Egh..
GTX560ti? Fantastic!
GTX560ti-448? Pretty much a 570 in all but name and a couple FPS, so; Fantastic!
GTX660? Fantastic!
GTX660ti? Fantastic

Seriously, the 560ti is very much a gamer card and will run most anything you throw at it. Sure, you won't be playing Metro LL on highest, but you'll double anything the 4870 can sustain, that's for damned sure Very Happy You can wait for JB if you want, he'll tell you the same thing I have Smile

Your logic/reasoning makes me cringe Laughing

A 560TI 448 Core is pretty much identical to an 580 (the "rich" people card)... and I'm not sure if I should even bother to go further. Typing in combination with laughing is pretty hard

Difference is, you have clearly no idea what you're talking about. While I'm trying to bring technical knowlegde to this gunfight, you come up with some kind of PR phrase logic Laughing

The upper end of the 500 series begins with the 560 TI on onward. Period. Very Happy

*EDIT* And yes, I do know. And did you know that the 480 was top of the line once?

oh I do have a clue I was reading it off the branded cards own info on card number branding.. go read up on it all for yourselves lol Very Happy

as i said last post 600 series in cards are mainly on par with performance with the 800 number LAST generation of cards.. FACT.

It is my reason for saying the whiners in forums of "why the fuck dont my5 series card run this game like ur 5 series card (higher number) mentality"

stop avoiding the truth mr Very Happy its the truth....
