why change from the old layout? it was great, easy to find the latest releases... but this ordered stuff, while it will probably seem great to some, just makes the site seem more cluttered - isn't there ANY chance of going back to the old design that just mixes together all the latest releases, so we can see straight away whats current, rather than having to scroll down the page to see whats current in each section?

?

Are you referring to the old design, as the one nForce had a month ago, or just the sorting on the main page (ie. not design at all) ?

If you mean the sorting, I too think it clutters the main page, I'd rather be able to choose exactly what's supposed to be displayed there. (ie. only Game ISO's, XVID and TVRIPS)

Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

i mean the older design layout (layout is what im refering too, not the new sites visuals, if thats what you thought i ment)

i liked having all media (movies, games, apps, etc) combined into one list, without the 'sectioned' view, thats currently up...

also in regards to being able to choose whats displayed, by going into 'my profile', you can select what ones you want to show up on the main page, hope that helps... unfortunately i cant see any way to rearrange their order - hopefully, if the site owners decide to keep the current sectioned formatting of the site, they impliment an option to be able to order the layout (ie, im more interested in movie releases, than i am games, so id like to put movies on top, etc...)

hope that makes clear what i was talking about.

Nice idea. Priority listing for the sorted section is on the TODO list as of now.

I've noticed considerable slow down in the last day or two -- half of the time I have to reload a page because it never finishes loading. Plus, I get an error message most of the time I try to post -- more so with quick reply Neutral

An idea to help bw-problems (and perhaps a few "Where's the game" is to:

When the visitor is not logged in:

a) Display a light-version of the theme (ie. without pictures)

b) Not to display ANY releases (but to have it one click away (ie. just click NFO's).

c) Display a little disclaimer: This site lists NFO's only, users who expect anything else are mistaken. Yes, it's true, no bullsiht. Do NOT come here to request anything that is illegal, wo do NOT condone that sort of behavior. If you understand these simple things, feel free to register a user at our forums - we're quite likable blokes, just DON'T do anything we mentioned, OK?

That way, when the majority of visitors come flooding to the first page, and not being logged, the images don't have to load.

If you have a limited "default priority-view" for not-logged-in visitors, you'll probably save a bit more bw.
