yes but no next gen features (ignite) on PC,XBOX or PS3..im not too disappointed as the price tag for a ps4 isnt that hefty so will go down that route in time ..it's becoming clear that devs are moving away from PCs at least for the near future

I'm pretty sure you can do every single one of those 'new features' on FIFA 13.

Indeed, so much for being "NextGen!1".. looks like a slightly revamped Fifa 13 and that's it.

But according to them you couldn't pass, make crosses and hit the ball with the head without the revolutionary Ignite! Laughing

The thing is, they did make some changes, but they are so insignificant that you don't really notice them and that's the problem. They said next-gen and people expected more, this is a situation that can be compared to the PES shit..

Dunno I'm a big fifa player and I appreciate a lot of what I saw especially the chest move been waiting for that for a long time. I don't think any next gen football title with have the feel ISS64 had when that came out there's only so much you can do imo

Yep but from the way he's talking you can maybe lay the ball off with your chest on the new engine like Drogba used to do

This sums up my thoughts pretty much...

For me, the biggest improvement lies with the Messi goal... New shooting animations, better & different ball trajectories, better ball physique in general... All of this should give us unique goals, goals in Fifa 13 start repeating itself, once you shoot it, you kinda know whether it's going in or not (I know it's different on manual, but I'm not that interested playing on manual controls). Even shots in this years PES feel better than shots in Fifa.

Someone feel free to correct me but I think that was a key feature in FIFA World Cup 2010 game, which was taken out for some reason in FIFA 11.

In no way do I consider it a new feature, and along with all the supposed new features it is in no way worthy of more of my money. They'll need to do something massive to the career mode to get my money this year.

Like a online coop career... I would pay hundreds for that.

http://www.vg247.com/2013/06/18/fifa-pc-players-have-low-spec-machines-ea-sports-boss-says/
Quote:
Wilson said the low spec PCs of FIFA fans are a barrier to the new Ignite Engine making its way to more than the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. FIFA 11, he said, is a perfect example of a console game which could not run on the PCs of the people who wanted it.

“Even though there were some PCs on the marketplace that could run that engine, the lion’s share of PCs on the marketplace could not,” he said.

“And the majority of the gamer base that was playing the game on PC did not have a PC spec that would work with that.”

Apparently that situation still holds true today, and it may quite some time before EA brings its newest engine to PC; Ignite designed around next-gen console hardware, and the average spec of the kind of PC gamers who want to play PC would have to rise.

“So could I see the potential for EA Sports Ignite to make it to PC in the future? Yes, I think it’s possible, but a couple of things need to happen,” he said.

“There needs to be some adjustment in terms of how EA Sports Ignite works to facilitate the open nature of PC architecture, rather than the closed nature of console architecture.”

Lies, lies and lies again by EA.The same poor excuses over and over.
FIFA outsells PES because it's an arcade online only game for teens. Offline mode is laughable with non existent AI, both teammate and CPU. PES, even with the AI cheating sometimes, recreates a better sim game of football on the pitch and there's some tactical involvement and individuality. Still PES is not a simulation though. Hopefully things will change this year. PES 14 will be the first football game that cpu AI players come at full stop with the ball to consider options. There is a gameplay video in the appropriate thread that shows this exactly. Plus, cpu AI build up is very good in PES 14 with backpasses and even a backpass to the GK (check the video on PES 14 thread).

Obviously the PC can't handle the next-gen FIFA, that's why EA is also releasing next-gen game Battlefield 4, which looks far worse than FIFA.

And more info here;

The comments section is a particular joy, all the console peasants are downvoting any negative feedback and then pushing some bullshit about Intel GMA being the "most used GPU" I weep for the future

Let's wait for a demo, and then we'll see. When I've tried FIFA 13 demo I fell in love with it instantly. I got it for PC, and later I got a PS3 and bought it for that too. Maybe it will be the same with FIFA 14 Rolling Eyes

and? sorry to say guys, but he have a point,I would like to have new engine for PC as well, but most people doesn't have PC's that outperform PS4 and xbone, the game made for the majority, not the minority.
in 2 years it will start to change and then it will be poor excuse.
