SWTOR is twofold: it is one of the most uninspired, shameful copy-paste job in the market, in terms of being an MMO, but at the same time the stories themselves are pretty good.
Anyone who plays it for the MMO side is fooling himself, but just for the story content, it is a pretty good game.
And for that alone, the even the more retarded restrictions are bearable since most of them impact the MMO-side of things instead of the enjoyment of the story.
yup it just needs that something more and it would be fine... but I wont knock it for its story lines etc, its fine as it is I just never felt like I needed to mp/coop with anyone for any reason. MMO's of late seem to for me apart for the odd couple give me the feeling solo is as good as grouping these days.
Rift is probably the best bet currently. If you can snatch one of those free keys for Rift complete, you have access to a quality game without any noticable restrictions.
Will start playing it again too in about 1-2 weeks. Game owned back then
