So i have my original PS1 1002 model from 1995 that hasnt been used in 10 years or so. The laser was defective and was removed at the time and a new PS1 was purchased which.... i have no clue where is it now.
Anyhow its modded , has sentimental value etc. Saw on ebay they sell clones of the laser module for $12 which is a steal and seem to work quite well.
so i connected PS1 to the TV and checked if i would get to the startup screen at least but it doesnt.
So whats the behavior for PS1 without the laser module in it(connected)? wondered if one of you could test it out before i order parts.
