Some Final Fantasy games have released on PC, but usually well after console release.
Lightning Returns is due in February 2014. |

The last FF release on PC (besides the MMOs) was FF8 wasn't it? It would seem a strange point to leap back in. Maybe they are just desperate for cash, in which case I wouldn't be expecting a stellar port.
Edit: Ah, false then. I thought it was strange.

Although it would be typical, release what is FFXIII-3 on the PC while skipping the first two games

I played FF13 on the xbox360, imo it was a good FF game. On the other hand, FF13-2 sucked, and I think this'll be more akin to FF13-2 than FF13.

@Interinactive: It certainly was better than the dreadful third one, but I'd still rank the first one as best.

If you ask me, #2 *was* the best. Much larger world and more to do in it, it's just a shame Microsoft/Lionhead screwed everyone because F3 was just blegh.
