I really like the game, but its a shame these guys cant code for shit. Screen tearing and frame rate shouldnt be an issue with GFX like this. I hope they keep working on it and maybe release a TU

This, seriously. I have over 200 XBLA's and this takes the crown as most unpolished title. Sad
Such a shame, since is really fun to play and there is a lot of depth, unlike most zombie games around.

i really wish i would of visited this thread before spending 3 hours scavanging (2 times now, started with pnet version then waited for offical release) and i have also ended up crashin before getting to the church so frustrating.

this may not be mongoloids fault cuz i remember i loaded up my save file from the dev version right before the church and it froze too, but i have heard people getting to the other cities in the dev version so im probably wrong

worst part is i really enjoy the game, theres no other game quite like it, will wait for patch. so dissapointed

Well... this version does have TU support. So I guess there's that to hope for a framerate fix. Though I wouldn't hold my breath, as that dev clearly said they won't fix the framerate issues. Laughing

I bought it and the FPS issues are there, thank god im not too sensitive regarding that. Despite its shortcomings its a fantastic game, 3-4 months of additional dev time wouldve been good tho.

The save from the pnet vers, would make the game freeze for me (so I had to start fresh) so there might be that. But to get to that church, that's just 30min -1h (max) into the game so it's not much of a hassle.

Yeah agreed not much play time, but is there any improvement in performance on the retail vs pnet. Not that i saw much other than a few fps dips and lags. But i think the performance problems come later in the game right?

Yeah, at the first settlement and it gets lower from there, at least for the pnet vers. But I haven't played much of this -- still at the cabin -- so I can't say if it's better or worse. From the first 10 min it seems a bit better than the pnet, but I can remember how the pnet version performed at the start of the game, in order to state a fair comparison.

It's still not your ideal 30 fps game like most titles that come out on the x360 nowadays. So take that into account, no matter what people say.

yeah I only have issues while it can't keep up with streaming in new resources, like when first starting up the game and after driving for a bit.


Game seems quite good so far. Haven't played a lot yet but it has some very nice gameplay and gets stuff right that other so called zombie survival games failed miserably at.
