It really wasn't. We were all talking, and laughing, about it on here back when the iPad 3 came out -- and you, specifically, corrected people about the "iPad 3" name.

I don't think it'll be an Xbox One exclusive. It'll probably be a f2p title (with items and augmentations being purchasable) featuring social media integration. And they'll most likely introduce multibro since Square Enix see it's a very popular mode amongst dudes and dudettes, and because all the other cool companies' games have it. At the very least, the first DLC package could be exclusive for the XO.

It just makes things easier at a glance, though to be completely honest; it doesn't REALLY matter. The savvy ones will do research first, the sheep will just run out and buy whatever's new  |

They do the same for the iPad now. Rather than sticking to Apple's equally retarded "THE NEW IPAD" or whatever, T.net just use the damn year - so do most tech sites for that matter (just look at Anandtech). Or, in the case of the MBA/MBP which has seen two updates a year sometimes, call it the "Spring 2012 MBP" or "Mid-2009" (which is what it says on that page as well if you hadn't guessed it yet  ). Without that or a version number, an ad that says "iPad" may as well be the 2012 or the 2013 one, yet you do give a shit which of the two it is.
Or should we start doing "The new CoD!", "CoD with dogs"?  |

Lolz off-topic but I'd wait a couple months and read some user experiences first. The first generation was quite a failure on every front except the display
At least Haswell should keep the heat down, because all the 2012 MBPs (retina or not) run ridiculously hot. I need to use smcFanControl to keep my fan spinning at 4000 RPM at least to prevent the area around the escape key becoming hot enough to practically burn your finger on. No different on my colleagues' Retinas either  |
