I played a bit and I really like this! However I can't really play it, because there's some serious stuttering whenever some effects come up on screen, especially in combat. Disabling the settings that I can does nothing it seems.

I haven't checked my CPU usage, but there are others that have reported that it seems. Maybe that's what's causing the stuttering for me, since I have a pretty weak CPU compared to most people nowadays?

E6850 @3.3Ghz, 4GB DDR2, 560ti, HDD is this apparently: WDC WD5000AAKX-001CA0 (SATA-III) and I'm on Win7 x64.

Thou Dust is a kind of basic game,the actual gaming world demands more PC Specs than normal..
I used to have a similar CPU you have,the Intel Dual Core E6600 @3Ghz (i think?) with the same RAM but an 8800GT..
Then i've upgraded my CPU to the one in my Sig (with a new motherboard,else it won't work),8GB DDR3 1333mhz,then a 460GTX (8800GT was dying after trying to play STARCRAFT 2)...after my card (460GTX) was getting old for 2 years,the 660Ti OC 2GB from Gigabyte came in my hands and replaced it...Now every game i throw into the PC works flawlessly (except Crysis 3,obviously,among a very few others)
Maybe it's time for you to upgrade?..you'd just need to change your motherboard to one with USB 3.0 support and many other things (take mine as an example),then the CPU (with a better cooler?) and 8GB DDR3 1333mhz RAM and you're SET!..unless other people suggests you something else..and atleast a 700W PSU

What a great Game hard to believe a single guy did most of the work for it.
btw someone at steam forums made a launcher for it ( http://steamcommunity.com/app/236090/discussions/0/828939978526015104/ ) and you can also set the cpu affinity with it, a single core was enough for me to get the game running in fullspeed and keep my cpu from running at 100 % on all cores.

Also, the game runs fine for the most part. It clearly has something to do with certain effects that come up mostly in combat. I'm pretty sure it's not my PC at fault in this game's case. 
I like the voice acting so far, it's cute and fits the game to a T.
(And yet, it's ofc full of other stereotypical stuff that annoys me. But the stuff I like weighs out the bad, luckily.)
