Looks worth owning a Vita for! Smile

Description:

Prepare yourself for a brutal combat experience where every decision made will have consequential results. Take on the role of a slave who stumbles upon a forbidden book that allows its readers to relive epic battles between sorcerers and monsters of the past. In order to use the magic during fierce battles, the player must be willing to make a sacrifice in exchange - ranging from personal belongings, a limb, or even a life.

Features:

* All-Star Development Team - The legendary Keiji Inafune of Comcept is leading Soul Sacrifice alongside Marvelous AQL, with Yasunori Mitsuda and Wataru Hokoyama working on the music soundtrack.

* Fantasy blended with Reality - Learn the true meaning of cruelty and cost as Soul Sacrifice will introduce a fantasy experience blended with reality where the player will be making unimaginable sacrifices in pursuit of great power.

* Freeform Character Customization - Choose and equip your offerings wisely as each spell has a dark, violent cost in exchange for its power. Players must also carefully choose between "Sacrificing" or "Saving" a monster's soul, as your character's abilities and visual form will change based on your decision.

* The first co-op action RPG experience on PS Vita - Become fully immersed within an integrated world of dark fantasy made possible by the power of PS Vita.

Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube

If anybody buys a Vita just for this they're an idiot. It's a good game but not a system seller.

The story is quite dark, it's interesting to read through all the lore and other info. In Japan the game is themed around Arthurian legend, with the Grail transforming people into monsters, Merlin is the bad guy in the game, but in the EU releases (US too I think) they changed all the names. People are guessing that the company didn't want to offend, the Druids were recently recognized as a religion so that could be true, they're pretty much the bad guys in this game.

Gfx are good for the enemies but usual low-res console blurriness for scenery, the game reportedly runs at less than the Vita's native res too.

Sounds are fine, music is quite good.

Online seems to be a big part of it but I can't be bothered with that.

Boss fights can take anywhere from three minutes to an hour, depending on what level you are and how good you are at learning patterns and dodging.

I find it quite difficult at times, then get annoyed reading gamefaqs and seeing all the 12yo kids complaining about how easy it is, dicks.

Tons of spells, magic weapons and outfits (if you're into that kind of thing) and there is some depth to the battle system.

There is a demo out, if anybody gets a Vita and is considering the game it's the best way to decide, there's hours of stuff in the demo. I did not like it at all for the first hour or two but it does grow on you.

So..is it worth in the end?...i've played the demo a few weeks ago and enjoyed a couple of hours..thou the ALLIED AI is sometimes annoying, interrupting ya spells (maybe making you waste one use of a spell you were about too shoot? (Hopefully that gets fixed))...It's similar to Monster Hunter (wich i fucking enjoyed back in time, + 80 or 100 hours of madness..)

Sure,MH made you kill monsters all the time, CARVING them (in SS,Save/Sacrifice) and kill badass monster bosses...sure (again),some of them,in future missions, were identical yet gave you better stuff when carving them n stuff, but were harder to kill..

Good thing you can use allies if you're a forever alone like me (i confess it,since i played MHFU...alone grinhurt),but with the AI i dunno (thou some may come in handy)

I liked mixing spells to get "star spells" and stuff, and using my right arm to beat the shit out off enemies...

Any opinion?..is it worth it for real?..it costs around 34,95€ (PSN Store) and 40€ Physical (but it has 3 month Plus + DLC for Jap voices and other stuff)..also,how much does it weight (GB)?

Please give me an opinion..the main menu's theme (the girls singing while reading Librom's pages) is stucked in my head but i dunno if it's for pleasure or drama X_X)

Thanks in advance (Proud Vita owner with SINE MORA,Persona 4 Golden,Super Stardust Delta, WipEout 2048,EB Golf,Montezuma and a few other epicnessess like Gravity Rush and MVSC3 (this last one for free, like the Golf one) with a 16GB MC
