Also, I just found there's a bug with the F keys. If you assign your skill to one of the F keys, and later reset your skills, you can still use your unlearned skill that you previously assigned.

Interesting, I guess it's one of those mechanics that is more complex than it looks from videos.

I was initially somewhat worried about the "lack" of active skills, whilst I agree that if you need a second skill slot bar (ala Warcraft), then things are getting absurd, but having only immediate access to a handful of skills seemed somewhat limiting and perhaps would become repetitious.

Anyway, I'll be able to answer my own questions soon as my download for Reloaded's release is almost done Smile

Yep, that is a bug from beta. I wanted to report it but I couldn't register on their forums, never got an email >_>

Finished the game, around 9 hours all in all but I explored every map and killed pretty much everything, thought I could finish everything in the game too but I know I missed at least two things and for one event you have three choices of where to go but can only choose one alternative.
 Spoiler:

You can keep playing after finishing the game (The story is concluded but there's a bit of a cliffhanger for the next "episode" or what to call it) but I am unsure what else to do, everything is dead and all areas are explored though I'll see if I can't resolve some of the stuff I missed at least. Smile

I still think that key is for "wormcave" level.

Could be, but to me that would be the Drill Worm boss fight room (Added a while back when the beta was extended for the final time.) and it seems confirmed that the key would have no use in the first chapter (Thus why it's one of the quest items that carry over instead of being removed.)

There could still be a cave level somewhere in the second chapter though. Smile
 Spoiler:

EDIT: Come to think of it I never found a use for the quest item "W*rths" shoe that I fished up from the slum area, maybe related to the beggar chain events?
(Lots of beggars you can offer gold or refuse, maybe it has some other purpose.)

Oh I think it's available directly from the start but it must be quite well hidden, I meant the second chapter or act since it's completely separated from the first (smaller) chapter and there is no way to return once you begin that part of the game but you are warned about that just before you confirm if you want to proceed.
(Any quest items that are unused will disappear - thus I lost my crude sword since I forgot to give it away - whereas relevant quest items carry over like just that key.)

Can someone explain how I use the upgrades? I can't figure them out. I can input rage by left-clicking I think, but it doesn't last.

Press key 1, 2 or 3 to activate the bonuses (The little round things above the skills, have to be unlocked as well.) and then just attack either with left or right mouse button to fire off a attack (Primary attack or a skill if you right-click.) with that powerup active, consumes rage. Smile
(You can also vary such as 3,3,3 or 1,1,2 depending on what you want to do and what you have unlocked.)

I went for meele because I play ranged class and thus use her as bait, when she lures all the dirt I just start to shoot with explosive shot like a crazy. Just a hour ago I found lovely unique pistol with high fire rate + critical hit chance +enchanted for critical hit chance and now my screen is all yellow.

Yeah there's a lot of little easter-egg's like that, from coca-cola and Mario and Luigi's plumbing service advertisement to two headed talking cows and Portal references (The cake, as usual.) even including special items and creatures such as, we'll you'll see. Smile
(Plus stuff between Katarina and Helsing as they talk to each other and even certain quests or NPC referencing all sorts of stuff - Highlander for one -, perk descriptions too such as a reference to Conan with that quote about driving enemies before you.)

meh, this game is a lot of kiting around in the harder difficulties. I don't see the fun, when you have to kite even little trash mobs around, because they 2 hit you lol.

In the beginning yes but once you gain a few levels and get some nice gear it becomes much more sensible.

it became a bit less kite after clearing the first area (werewolf lair etc) but then it picked up again and now its worst then before. Also the skills are just not fun. Imho.

The difficulty does pick up then so you definitely need to upgrade your crowd control skill. Those little buggers are extremely annoying at first Razz . Also don't forget enhancing your equipment and adding essences. Personally I managed to get rather powerful after that point. The chain lighting skill with the upgrade that makes it use 100% of physical damage is really useful. Also upping your critical chance is useful. One of the perks gives +10% crit.chance on the first hit also. Oh and I'm playing a full on melee build.

The only enemies that somehow problematic is the machine-men soldiers with rifles, these are SUPERFAST and they deal a lot of piercing (?) damage which can easily kill after second salvo.

This is the only enemies I kill using very long-range tricks (shift+attack).

If you are really dying so fast - learn Second Chance perk and Time Stop. These, combined, can save your life twice.

Ranger build with these abilities is much more suitable to me, because I don't bother with defense factor, I put everything into critical chance damage + hit landing + dexterity for damage + attack speed. If there was something to increase movement speed, that would be just overkill :3

UPD: Also, I just love how the game (and Grim Dawn as well) goes into "sleep mode" when you alt+tab it, it let go of CPU and GPU and allows them to work in low-energy mode. I don't even need to quit the game at all. Don't recall Diablo 3 or any other recent RPGs doing so.

Do you remember where did you found that 2nd statue? I have all the gems (2 in some random chests I think, 1 from quest) but I don't know where to put them.
Also isn't bunnyslayer a weapon that Van Helsing makes? Because you do meet a bunny at one point.
