It used to work, and still does on occasion, but now I'm often taken to the main page instead.

Now I can't get to the game ISO section at all. When I click the link on the sidebar, it takes me to the forum.

I'm using Opera 8.

Regarding the ISO Section, maybe this can help you: http://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=219844#219844

You probably had two windows open, one on the forum and one on the nfo page so it bounced you to the last used page.

I tried the "Start Page" option, but I'm still taken to the most recently visited page when I open the bookmark (http://www.nforce.nl.index.php).

Now, for example, I can close all windows, open the bookmark, and it takes me to the main forum page even though my Start Page is set to show only game ISOs.

Thats quite impossible to say the least. As soon as you close all your browser's windows, your session disappears and you cant just magically be bounced to the forum anymore. The only possible explanation is if the cookie, thats suppose to go poof as soon as you close your browser, still stays. I suggest you remove any of our cookies and see if it still occurs. Just to be safe, please check your bookmark aswell and make sure the link is pointing to the right place. Sometimes the link's title says one thing but after you check its properties you find out its linking to a different site for example.

What I meant was... I closed all of Opera's internal windows. If I actually close Opera, then restart, the bookmark works as it should.

It's less convenient than the old setup (so is the new need for horizontal scrolling on the entire site), but I can deal with it.

Both the direct bookmark and custom home page still don't work with Opera unless you restart Opera, or avoid other areas of the site.

I deleted all nforce cookies and restarted Opera, logged into nforce, went to the forum, left nforce to go back to my brower's home page, clicked the bookmark for PC Game ISOs and it took me to the forum. The same thing happens when I click a bookmark for the main page, which I customized.

But as I mentioned before, it's only a minor inconvenience for me. I rarely visit the site more than once a day, and it's always after my browser has been restarted. That means the bookmark usually works as I'd expect.

I guess what I'm saying is... I have no complaints. I'm just informing you of the issue.

Yeh, I can confirm this also. FF works fine but Opera is not. Just experienced the problem in Opera this afternoon. Hope you can fix, now that is Opera is FREE!!

Thanks...

Its not a bug. Its made like that so the site remembers at which area you are. Saves alot of trouble by juggling usless vars around the url's. If you want to be taken to the nfos page no matter what, please delete your old bookmarks and use the new ones i've just put up.
