Just saw this a couple minutes ago and paid $1.10. It gets you both Alan Wake CE and American Nightmare. I've already played both, but the price was right to take up two new slots in my Steam list.

Come on. Dice betrayed you all. EA betrayed everyone. Remedy was in a tough position and they took MS money. Nobody else wanted them. What are you gonna do? You make two great games. Have no money to keep your employees. Work with your last dimes to make an engine for alan wake, nobody gives a fuck except gamers... ms buys them... game comes out.
Remedy should do a kickstarter and they'd get a shit load of money from PC fans. Well not shit load since a lot of PC fans are somehow pissed off that they guys needed money to survive and keep the company going. It's a small studio...
FFS they had to get someone else to do Max Payne 3... (even though it was a brilliant game... it would've been perfect if it weren't related to max payne... but still a great game)
Aside from gamers... no one gives a fuck about remedy. They're nobodies. To us they're god given gifts who know how to make fantastic games. To everyone else with big hats and 20 thousand dollar dildos up their asses they're nothing.
That's what y'all should be pissed about. Not that a dying starving company took the only way that was offered to them, but at the fact that they don't make commercial games that sell to dudebros.
I hold no grudges for remedy. I'm just pissed that the next xbox is shit. Not even worth buying it for a remedy game like i did with the 360.

Jumping into bed with Microsoft and being forced into more console exclusives, again, is just spitting in the face of PC gamers everywhere.

Pisses me off. They were quick enough to come grovelling with their 2 year old game when they wanted some money with talk of how they had respect for PC gamers and wanted to make up for the past. Then bang! New console, new IP and new exclusivity deal fucking PC users over once again. Then they actually make a bundle for said PC gamers that have just been fucked over and a little video explaining that because their exclusive IP for last gen didn't sell much until it came to PC, at which point it sold a bucket load, they need more money so they are going console exclusive again. I mean....WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK! Well, Seeing as how your new games a console exclusive my money will be staying PC exclusive. Oh and by the way Remedy, Max Payne 3 was better than the ones you did. Suck it.

Don't you believe their explanation that the initially low sales of Alan Wake forced them into such a deal in order to survive? A game developer needs to sign to a new project even before the current project is finished, otherwise they go bankrupt. This new exclusive game was most likely signed while the Alan Wake DLC and American Nightmare where developed. You know, when most PC gamers on the internet spit hate at Remedy's face 24/7 and called their baby "Weak Anal"
13th Mar 2012. PC version launched a month earlier. I'm going to be VERY generous and say the PC version sold 100k in a month.
Which makes AW 360 @ 1.9M at that time.
Today we learn the franchise has sold 3M. Now I'm going to be ridiculous and tell you AWAN sold 0 copies on 360 (the truth is it was top selling).
That makes AW 360 @ 1.9, AW PC + AWAN PC = 1.1
So to be a little realistic as you see the truth is closer to
360 AW + AWAN: 2.2 - 2.5M,
PC AW + AWAN: 0.8 - 0.5M
or something like that.
