What a massive failure of universal proportions. It started off well but it ended disastrously.

Yeah well it looks I'm getting a PS4, it's more powerful and it's not full of useless features (most of which won't even be available in my country). The only thing that might make me consider xbox 360 is the exclusives. It seems they are investing a lot of in first party games, and that makes sense.

However it might be the right move for MS. One in all living room solution marketing is something that will probably sell well among the casuals and non-gamers.

Pretty much all of it. You won't be getting HBO/CBS integration outside of America, nor will you have "Fantasy Footbal.... Hand Egg" NFL stuff either. This is now officially the Yankbox One, since two thirds of the "features" they listed are worthless outside of the United Planet of America.

So is it always online or not? They threw alot of "connected" stuff and when he was talking about forza, it seems like he was saying everything is cloud based thus the instant switching. Plus for live tv do you have to use a cable or what?

We don't know that. All we know on the Yankbox One is "8 Core CPU, 8GB RAM, Blu-ray" -- they didn't even clarify whether it's DDR5 or not, nor did they mention the GPU capabilities. We can only hope E3 clarifies more, but for now? I think they're being deliberately vague because they know the PS4 already outpowers it.

He said it's not always online. But obviously if you want to use stuff from the web you will need to be online Smile

He did? When? I was watching the same stream as you and I didn't hear those words, not once. What I DID hear, quite frequently, was "connected" used a dozen times, "cloud" used just as many, EA's shill drone going on about "cloud-based rendering of gameplay" too.

My thoughts exactly.

Although in the end it might not even matter if most devs choose it as the lead. We'll see.

TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
