Yeah, but that doesn't help when you stumble upon bugs which i just did because the fucking braindead developers need to have the player escorted and not the other way around for that awesome brofist Cod experience. I'm almost at the theatre, but that guy i'm following won't move. He says when i load that i should follow him, faster faster blabla, but he just stands at the corner of a building and won't move, and i can't do anything myself...

Give it a chance ffs. You haven't got very far.

Fuck sake, just tried playing some more and 80% of the game this far has been me being escorted by some NPC through levels. COD: Last Light. Hope it changes, but my intuition tells me that one escort NPC gets replaced by another during the course of the game.

That bathhouse in the theater with the two women (Covered by frosted glass and a chair so the player can't get close.) someone found a way past that and took a few images.

EDIT: So that's how it was done, changing the player position via cheat-engine.

Anyway - back to the game.

 Spoiler:

I found the game's atmosphere to be great, enhanced by the nice engine, which ran fluidly on High+ settings with an overlcocked 560ti. Shooting felt solid, though since the human enemies shot pretty accurately, it forced me to take cover whilst having open conflict with them, whilst I like shooting on the move more. Guns felt great, killing monsters felt great as well.

Think I'll give it around 7.5/10 (high according to me). this and m:wl are the best games I played in 2013 thus far.

Just finished it.

The ending was pretty gay

And i got the good ending i guess
 Spoiler:

Played on normal hardcore and that difficulty setting is good for the atmosphere. At least when fighting against monsters, because they can kill you fast if you are not careful.
But the human enemies were crap. Just sit in the shadows and kill them all with a silenced weapon Surprised

Graphics/performance was really good after adding SweetFX and the update.

Only noticed one bug during the playthrough. Sometimes my Assault Rifle would have the military ammo loaded when i switched to it.

Overall was good fun! 8/10

You could choose chapters from the main menu and replay the level, you lose a bit of progress but it allows you to stock up on ammo and other gear plus you will be better prepared to handle the challenge. Smile
(Though you are very close to the end of the level.)

Quick questions:

Is it just a bug in the RELOADED version, or my GPU drivers when:

1. Both the dirty ammo and the clean ammo make the same sound (unlike 2033)
2. Clean ammo creates a flame when it hits enemies.

Cheers, guys

Unsure about that first one but for the second it's probably a indicator that you are using that type of ammo, maybe they thought that the half transparent magazine wasn't enough of a visual hint?
(Despite the pristine bullets being a pretty noticeable green/yellow tint.)

But does it do it on yours?

I'm not talking a little spark, I mean if I shoot a guy in the thigh, his whole thigh will be briefly on fire, but it's not actually on fire nor does it cause flame damage.

Also, it only happens on organic things, not the enivironment or destructible objects.

I'm really hoping it's a bug as it seems so wrong.

It's not a bug unfortunately, just a stupid design decision. As stupid as the one that automatically reloads your assault rifle with military rounds when fighting a miniboss, and if you're not careful to re-reload your gun with cheap ammo you'll end up dirt poor.
Another idiotic decision was to remove the Volt Driver and Heavy Automatic Shotgun. Those were great weapons, why not let them in game ?

Well happened to me twice, and each time i was facing a different miniboss. First time i thought i pressed something wrong and reloaded military ammo, but when it happened again later, i realised it was on purpose.
