Pretty sure I've seen it here but I also couldn't find a thread. Doesn't look too bad, but I'll wait for some reviews first.

Looks cool!
Looks like a mix between Populous and Clonk

Will also get released on Steam, even though it's still not listed there.

Prices: Reus will cost €9.99 / $9.99 / £6.99, and similar in other currencies.

Indeed, it doesn't seem too banal (at least from the videos). Looks like one of those games that start off easy and end-up using the typical matryoshka structure with lots of different stuff to manage (or at least I hope so!)

*looks at title, sounds Dutch*
*looks at description, yep, must be Dutch (Reus = Giant in Dutch)*
*starts dev diary #1 video: DAT EXTREME HOLLANDSE ACCENT *

Couldn't be more obvious even if he tried. To clarify for non-Dutchies: people from Holland -two of our provinces, not the name of our country, fuck you- tend to have extremely obvious accents when speaking foreign languages. Their German is even worse Laughing

Looks interesting though Smile

Just played the Tutorials and it is a lot of fun if you liked Populous or (to a certain degree) Black&White.

However,i think the 3DM Crack is doing a bit too much since once you start a regular game you have all the Powers unlocked. As far as i understood those ingame hints, you should unlock them trough playing so it might spoil the fun.

Very interesting game, the videos hinted at complexity, but didn't expect it to be this in-depth. Tonns of combinations, space is very scarce, lots of stuff to unlock, etc. Like it so far.

Anyone tried this on a lower spec machine? Wondering how well it will run on my laptop :\..

Specs are:

Processor:Intel® Core 2 Duo or AMD Phenom processor
Memory:2 GB RAM
Graphics:DirectX10(R) compatible card with 512MB of memory
Hard Drive:500 MB HD space

Which clearly my laptop doesn't hit, but not by a massive amount. ITS 2D FFS! Razz Anyway, any experience would be welcome.

Indeed, the style is really unique and wonderfully animated Razz

The gameplay is quite addictive and charming, not complicated but not banal either with all of the resource combinations and new unlocked stuff. Perhaps it will get repetitive soon, but so far I'm having fun^^
