Yes, but then you're going to need some way of running the title without Steam authorisation -- likely something such as LumaEmu.

im not 100% but i dont think the steam auth is implemented, so basicly steam is just used as a platform to download it. thats what it seems like anyhow, been alot of drm talk over at the official forums

Then again, alpha is still an alpha - have they said how much content is still not implemented / unfinished? Will alpha saves even be compatible with upcoming versions?

I won't even download the alpha. Why the fuck would I waste time on that? I could do some feedback work I guess, but I don't really have the patience/time for that right now.

Yeah I've been looking forward to seeing this game released since I pre-purchased the game for ~60$ or some such, oh and just after I took the last image a little pop-up appeared and explained a few things, most importantly that the alpha can be a bit rough (Which is expected.) and that it only has around 1/3rd of the games content.
