The Place Beyond the Pines - 8,5/10

Very compelling and ambitious movie with its three connected stories, and big focus on morality and fatherhood. I found the second half weaker and less intense if compared to the first one, but overall Cianfrance did a good job at linking all the segments together, and the actors were brilliant for the most part. Pretty solid soundtrack, too.

6/10

Worst of the series so far. Too long, no other super heroes. I did watch it through over a period of several days (yes that unexciting). 1 and 2 were much better. The whole fire thing and terminator like stuff was lame.

Nope Smile But I'm not a Star Trek fan, haven't watched any series or movies before from Star Trek.

A good day to die hard :

rated as a generic (thats not a bad thing in this case) action popcorn flick with shitload of action and explosions :

7.5/10

rated as a Die Hard movie

-1/10

This movie has nothing to do with die hard and even makes die hard 4.0 look amazing (as a die hard movie).

sad sad.

But once you forget that, the movie is entertaining. Just rename it Smile

Side Effects

Knowing almost nothing about the premise, the twist half way came really as a (pleasant) surprise and a very satisfying ending.

Maybe not all very original, but a good movie with solid performances nonetheless.

7.5/10

Gloriously Wasted (Juoppohullun päiväkirja) - 7 Funny stuff, maybe a bit depressing too.

a good day to die hard - 8/10 for the first or so minutes with the high impact chase scene. It looked nice. wiseman type high impact chase. Colours are nice too. 2/10 for the story. Too PG for a die hard movie. overall it's soft core censored porn on mute. 4/10

Completely agree. Still find it weird to find eminem in the movie poster all the time:

Happy now, bitch?

Am I the only one? Laughing
The actor looks very different in, well, every scene of the film itself when compared to that poster.

link fail toni.

Actually, the cut i saw atleast, was much less PG than Iron Man 4.0. Actual blood was seen from getting shot with huge guns and they were even allowed to say 'fuck'. Anyway thats the only positive thing from this movie. It was horrendous.

John Rambo McClane - 5/10
The story was kurwa stupid. There is no witty dialogue, just mostly unfunny one-liners. On the bright side the shoot-outs were pretty meaty. The older "McClane" becomes the more bad ass he is and bigger threat he must face.
So the "No one hears you Die Hard" will take place in space where John McClane will be stopping an alien invasion.

Swearing, blood, guns is PG nowadays.
Before in die hard movies you had baddies that were terrifying-ish. Bad ass-ish.
Very very bad. You root for mclane. In this one, not so much.
Even die hard 4 (as derp as it was) is better than this. and that was full on PG.
It had the baddie where you're all OOOH HE'S EVIL. In this one... ooo... ok.

Mind you didn't finish watching it. Laughing got really derp with the story.
Visually it's nice.

'Die Hardest' will be the next installment. Laughing But your vision could be taken into account in the making of the 7th part. Laughing

You obviously dont understand how the MPAA works or you need to put a disclaimer on your posts that you intently will misuse acronyms and definitions Laughing

No.

Motion Picture Rating (MPAA)
Rated R for violence and language

Anyway you can talk of tone and that it was less suspenseful or whatever but the MPAA doesnt give a shit about that. And I actually agree with you on that part but I thought it was intentionally silly and not just lack of suspense. Not a good thing either.

And its definitely not a hard R like the first two movies. Like maybe 20 fucks in it? To be easily recut or redubbed in ADR to throw on TV.

Worst Die Hard ever... even Live Free or Die Hard was better than this pile of crap.
Actually it's even worse than some direct2dvd trash actioners.

A Good Day to Die Hard - 5/10

It wasn't the worst film I've ever seen, but it wasn't superb either, utterly mediocre in every way -- and yes, m3th0d is right; by far the worst entry in the DH pentalogy. It was a braindead action flick but not a very good one, with a dull story, lousy CG and bored looking actors. Hell.. the only one I could even consider an actor there would be Bruce, the guy playing his son (shit-cast of the year) was very poor.

Just a meh film all over.
