Linear. So linear it could stab you in the face and kill you. The story is mediocre and I'm afraid it'll stay that way till the credits start rolling. Gameplay is more than 100% identical to the first one. The only things that make me want it not to end, though, are the graphics, the incredible amount of details throughout the levels and mainly the atmosphere. 4A games have done a fantastic job at creating a believable post-apocalyptic world.

This game rapes my 6870 on medium settings. It drops below 30 fps in some scenes.

one would think all sli/crossfire users would have learned something all these years...
SLI and crossfire is shit, it always was and always will be, more incompability problems than its worth, always some fuckin bug in some game wich basicly forces you to use 1 card anyhow
save your gd money and get a good single card instead and get rid of that headache

Ranger mode is definitely an epic fail in this one. Original Hardcore is the way to go for now.

same as other DLC plagued games - will play it properly when will be all DLCs out and ranger mode will be probably fixed at that time

Login

That's optional. If you remove VPN, you won't be able to run the game directly via Steam.
(You'll see pre-load button again.)
However, you can change steam_appid file to read-only and play.
(:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Metro Last Light)
