Its precracked , but crack is separate as well.

Ranger mode seems to be buggy :\ If you try to access the weapon menu (TAB) you can't see shit but you can hear it toggling between options, so it's a bitch to try to change the ammo type you're using, for instance. You can't see how much ammo you have either (you were able to check your ammo in Ranger Hardcore in the first game). I think they might have overdone it, on top of the buggy stuff.
I'm gonna play it on Original Hardcore till they fix all that stuff (if they fix it).

That difficulty mode disabling the entire HUD is probably what caused those issues, wonder if it's designed that way or just a oversight.

Yeah, I just checked and plain Ranger mode (as in not hardcore) seems to work a bit better, at least you can see the weapon menu when hitting TAB, bit it still doesn't let you see how much regular ammo you have left (only shows the amount of military grade).

Hmm, I tried FLT release and it wasn't precracked. It just tried to open steam. So I pasted crack from second disk and it's working. Perhaps a crack is auto-copied when you tick Play now in the installer?

There's no scene rule that requires the crack to be present in a different folder. There are rules for packaging in general but no such rule. Sorry for off-topic.
