It actually looks a lot like GTA 4.

Look closely at this picture... low res bland textures, this is what we are gonna see on the ps3/360 version.

obviously its low res textures, what do you expect?
its not all about the textures though, as i said it looks very good for an open world console game, and no, gta 4 never looked good.

and no, gta 4 never looked good.
And neither will gta 5 (on ps3/360 Wink )
The models might look decent enough, but ugly jagged shadows no AA or AF at 720p won't be enough Wink

it has AA, on 360 at least. Even GTA 4 had AA. Yes there are still jaggies because AA with a subpar 1280x720 resolution still wont remove jaggies...

Play Max Payne 3 on 360 vs PS3, and notice the nice hardware AA Razz PS3 version uses that vaseline FSAA that blurs the whole screen, I don't remember it's name...

not sure if i remember right but i think i remember reading u will not see or hear from any of the characters from the gta 3 , vice city, san andreas universe. gta IV and gta 5 are in a separate universe, so you might run into niko or gay tony

My guess on rockstars path to excellence. Release on current gen, then release simultaneously on nextgen/pc just to garner double sales because plenty of people wont wait for the pc version so they will buy current gen then grab pc for the mods/better graphics etc and people will get the next gen who had the current gen just because they are huge fans and want the best possible version. Also a pc port is esssentially a ps4/720 port in its self so development time would be short and sweet for all 3 compared to the extra sales figures it would generate.
