Dunno...
First I had a hope that theres no release because of availability problem (on cdv forum people were bitching because they couldn't find it shops in US...)
After a couple of weeks I lost hope for even usb-drive-trick clone...
Now I gonna wait till it will be added to any pc magazine or buy used copy (prolly localised which usually sux big time). |

i found a working dpm for usb-drive-trick clone, now i'm looking for a clone version it seems to be one on edo...three rar parts for a dvd...i hope it isn't a fake

Not sure when i'll start dling it because I'm collecting Mythbusters episodes atm...
Q to some1 who have orginal dvd with Phase 2:
Can you check and tell us the size of data on dvd? |

data on dvd is something of 2.7 gb , but you will need an whole image thats about 4.3 gb

clone is going around released by devilscrew , german install , but has both german and english on it and works with usb trick

It's not an usb stick, it's usb dvd-drive.
Thats how it worked for me (SC:CT):
Burn image with proper mds with Alcohol 120% (RPMS on).
Disable other drives, put burned dvd into dvd-drive in external usb enclosure, play the game. |

It's not an usb stick, it's usb dvd-drive.
Thats how it worked for me (SC:CT):

you can use usb dirve in an usb enclosure , but ther also are ide to usb converters (is the cheapest way )

you mean i need an external dvd drive to use this "bridge" to avoid protection?
how about the SFN etc?

Hello , this is not a request!!!! i noticed the dvd image at the usual places and no nfo or ser# i guess i dl and give it a go the image size is about 5 gig dvd, i just finished the demo, pretty cool, i didn't notice alot of changes but i don't expect much from a demo...

Ide-to-usb bridge (sth like that: http://www.usbfirewire.com/Parts/rr-usb20-ide35.1.jpg ) allows you to connect normal internal disc/drive via usb port.
External usb enclosure (sth like that http://www.welland.com.tw/html/valued_enclosure/340.html ) is the same thing but you also get a nice enclosure and build-in power supply.
There are also firewire, sata versions etc.
SFN isn't enough with new wersions of SF. |
