also any nice sweetfx preset for this? |
I used the default one that got posted in the nvidia topic some days ago, gives just the extra bit of coloring and sharpness, but most important, some AA

I'm liking the game, it's like a Dead Island+ with the same pros and cons, but several aspects have been tuned up and even the graphics are more polished if compared to the blurry mess that we got the first time.
I really miss my Director's Cut mod though, playing the vanilla game with the almost infinite stamina is quite easy. I need some challenge
The story and writing so far are mediocre to say the least, but that's not a surprise . Oh well, at least slicing zombies and exploring is fun.

Did a few already for all the other traders but hers just won't popup, although I have already done 2 other quests for her.
Maybe it's after the first harlow quest (the boat) that I didn't start yet? | Found it, they trigger as soon as you start chapter 3.
Just reached the 2nd base/quest hub in the fishing village, this game just gets better and better.
EOTY for me so far

EOTY ?
Just finished the Game myself and i must say its mediocre, same as DI which i enjoyed and played 3 chars to 50. But this wont happen in this one, 1 lvl70 is enough and the end is okayish, not the best one.
One advice, check every cave and dead zone for chests and blueprints !

@DaLexy, I'm certainly exploring a lot. However, I've realized that after adventuring into some of the caves, later on some secondary quest sends me back there. Are absolutely all caves/bunkers/dead zones related to a secondary quest? So I can wait till I get said quest before going to those places for the first time?

Doubt that tbh, too many "indoor" zones for that..

is it me or does exploring in the first area isn't as satisfactory as in the first game. I just feel like running through to quest markers and doing shit. I don't see much shit I want/need. Everything epic is given to you by completing quests.

The latest helper version now allows you to enable SMAA (better than FXAA imo).

Funnily enough I hate there not being head bob/sway in games, find it a real immersion breaker.

its just unnatural. Our brain-eye-ear coordination doesn't do that in real life. Otherwise we would be constantly sick lol.

Just the default one was more then enough, tho i donno if SMAA is enabled in the default. (someone might tweak this one for even more AA, because it's still really needed, even after this)
