I was always curious about this game but I never tried it..watched many gp videos and I wasn't that interested , and then sometimes I see some positive comments and again I get curious. I guess I definitely need to try it at least.
a cult game gets a DLC patch in form of a new game ... the same was with another Cult game Vampire Rain that was released on p3 as VR : Altered Species
both games are close to my heart
one was a stealth game with vampires that only bombed because derp retard kids though it s a RUN AND GUN GAME!!! same thing happed with Alpha Protocol a cult RPG that bombed [copy/paste retard kids sentience thinking it was a gun and gun gears of war game]
the other was a Twin Peeks Survival Sandbox Horror game on low budget with the graphics of a ps2 that ride the fandom wave of Alan wake and how it was originally planned with 2km2 map , drivable vehicles , crazy storyline and FUN
heh another game to buy for my ps3
ps. lets hope his PLANS FOR THE PC VERSION SUCCEED!!! !

Likewise. It sort of intrigued me, but the shoddy visuals and gameplay mechanics sort of put me off. I was looking for something along the lines of Siren Blood Curse.
Got it today. The FPS is even worse than on 360 (which was already crap) Average around 15 FPS or so, in a few scenes it's around 25-30 but there's also scenes (like the dream scene in the begining with the two kids on the bench) that are like 10 FPS. Sure, a few of the textures has been updated, the pines looks better for example, most of it seems unchanged though, ground textures looks like the typical 128x128 textures. The aliasing in some scenes is just crazy too..
Whatever, it's still a great game, but don't expect it to look much different from 360, in a way it's worse since the FPS is lower.
its used like in Resident EVIL 5... to help you aim and move your camera ... well its like a mouse but you have to point on the screen
seen this game on friends ps3 and well i was going to buy this but i am skipping it , the 360 version plays better ...
remember that moment when you have to hide from the red cloak guy... and the screen goes slitscreen ... on 360 its 25fps on ps3 its a fucking disaster after this moment i said to my friend ... FUCK IT

crap, maybe they make 360 version of this director's cut
What a disaster, very disappointed with the spasmodic fps. As for high res textures , it still looks like PS2 game but that's part of the charm. There's no reason why this shouldn't be running at 60fps. Hopefully someone out there can fix it.
It was never fixed on the 360, so dont get your hopes up. And also, PS2 games are charming, on a PS2. I think devs gets away to easily these days with the "but it's RETRO, it's not sloppiness!"
To those new to this game...
Do not get it expecting a genuinely good game.
It's a bad game.
A baaaaad game.
But also the only game I know of that fits in the category of "so bad it's good".
As a parody of itself it is just absolutely brilliant.
It's a perfect game to play with a friend with beer in the other hand and have a laugh
I loved it but for all the wrong reasons.
If you approach it expecting cheese, I think you will enjoy it.
holy shit, this is the worst framerate ever to grace the (f)ps3,
the game literally runs @ 15-20 fps most of the time, how this ever managed to go into mass production is beyond me.
but...it may be the only game ever that i am still playing even with such a bad performance,
its just so quirky, weird, unique and endearing.
playing this game @ 15 fps i m having a better time than playing a cod @ 60 fps
