So much better with proper shadows and proper sweetfx Razz

 Spoiler:

Only shame is that proper AA doesn't work, tried all settings via CCC, but none seemed to actually work properly Sad

Looks like there's a alternate outfit DLC.
(Along with the pre-order DLC.)

Meh, I don't care about SweetFX, only want to change the FoV and some graphical enhancements.

The helper utility also allows an easy fix for the keyboard input related micro-stutter which is so annoying and I can't believe the devs are so incompetent they left it stay like that.

The fov can be changed via the helper too but I think there's still the bug (which TB mentioned since he tried) related to using guns when your fov is set really high.

I don't see why you need to change FoV, 85 is more than enough.

No it's not.

Also, there are 7 sets of skills in files. Each for the main 4 protagonists, one for Ryder (left over?), then the new one John, and one more for someone named Akuro.

I don't think default FoV is 85 in this game, almost sure about it, because 85 FoV in Battlefield is what I'm playing with and that's a lot better.

Except they didn't. I accept there could still be some minimal micro-stuttering (which I'm personally not noticing) but the difference when compared to the first game is huge, so no, they didn't leave that untouched (advertently or unadvertently, who kows?).

I'm gonna try that new DI Helper, even though the game is running nearly flawlessly for me atm. I just love tools and tweaking Smile

Vertical, yes. Normal FoV is horizontal, 62 vertical FoV is around 85 horizontal.

anyone get LAN working on win XP? On my win7 pc game runs fine even in lan mode. On my winXP pc, game wouldn't even start without the .dll "fix" from a page back, but with the fix will only start in SP mode and lan mode does not work, so has anyone gotten LAN working on XP?

I have it, he has it, sabin has it, a few other more people have it.

So they did fuck up again.
It should be easy to notice in the very first room by walking forward and backward and looking at the light/smoke.

When does Zoey (the chick who sells blades in the first survivor group) gives you her inventory upgrade quests?
Did a few already for all the other traders but hers just won't popup, although I have already done 2 other quests for her.
Maybe it's after the first harlow quest (the boat) that I didn't start yet? Confused

So as usual, my PC is immune to problems that other people have? What a surprise Laughing

You need to check the Team section accessed via TAB, there you can't activate quests for your team members, Zoey is included there.

Either you don't have it, which is not completely impossible BTW, or it's there but somehow you can't see it.

I know it's in the team tab, as I said I've already did some of the quests for the other merchants/characters.
There's no option to start her quest in there as of yet.

No, trust me. If I had it I would've known and you would see my complaints on different forums including this one. Back with Dead Island when the Helper and the keyboard control panel solution wasn't yet available that stuttering literally made me crazy, I would notice it constantly while moving, it distracted me a lot and stopped me from enjoying the game properly.

About the option for a new quest not appearing in the team tab that's weird and I have no idea then. I already got her inventory upgraded a couple of hours ago, I remember the quest involved some special L5 Batteries or something like that and I already had them on me.

What i find far worse is the annoying weather all the time, nonstop the weather keeps suddenly changing, when going "indoors" (little places you have to load for) the whole color and atmosphere changes even Neutral
This is far more game breaking then some shitty FoV, completely ruins the immersion for me...

And 2 steps further, being "outside" there

Really, this makes NO FUCKING SENSE.. Do these people not test the game before releasing?! Confused

That's the "dead zone" visual effect, or if you want to call them that they're sort of cues for the various boss arenas / dungeons you can explore.
(Those named stronger undead, about on par with the butcher / ogre creature - ability description in the index is identical - but not quite the same attack or movement pattern.)
