I love Anno and Simcity 4 (with all its defects) and any other RTS that involved city building and micromanagement, so ill shamefully ask..... is this worth it currently? Ive heard so many bad things...
After this damn 2.0 patch it may worth it if you can find a 30€ key.
It definitely not worth 60€ nor 80€ for the deluxe version.
It is not a so ugly, crappy, fail of the year game as some said.
But the way it is right now with its bugs and weidness, make the game somewhat boring past 150K citizens.
The very start of a new city is still fine though.
For now I just play on test server where it is easier to find free spots to play with other players.
Playing solo is no longer fun once you tasted multiplayer region stuff (I never thought I would say this ...)
I would say better wait for v2.0 and feedbacks or if you are patient with bugs go for it but try to find cheap key

It was fun for the first 5 to 10 hours but then the problems became really apparent and screwed me over.
I suppose with the 2.0 patch it will get much better but it's still a somewhat fundamentally flawed game, even if the bugs are fixed and balancing is done.
When I get a desire to play sim city again I think I might just go for simcity 4 instead.
I think it's just a better game and it still works fine today.
Luckily I got a 21 euro key off the indian origin and it got me dead space 3 via the free game offer later too, so I can't complain. I'd be pissed if I had paid full price though.

I haven't tried DS3 yet.
I think Simcity still has some potential, put an addon "Rush hour" like, bigger city maps and some more DLC (other than cosmetics shit).
This is why I repeat, if you are about to buy this game, find some cheap key to save up for future (expensive) DLCs.
But seeing how much time they need to fix it, it will take some years before we can expect a acceptable Gold edition

But they must do something about not being able to reclaim a city which contain stuff we don't have been stupid enough to buy.
Even by just demolishing these items, done.

The core of city income, if something goes wrong here, my city is almost lost.
I had to do crazy stuff to build a secondary road from the foundry to the trading port for delivery trucks.
Extreme crazy stuff.

City is going well.
The challenge to build on this mountain was fun and interesting.
I didn't encounter any bug for now, thanks to the fact I only reached 10 000 sims.
Every other cities I built turned into a mess past 150 000 sims.
I quit this game for now, waiting for this damn 2.0 update to see how will "greater" city works.
