Same question popped into my head after watching it. It was dull and weak.
Never seen the funny in it either, reminds me of the 'tom goes to the mayor' and 'tim and eric awesome show' thing. Why I hardly watch adult swim anymore.
They went from good shows to this "fake low budget, because its funny to look like its public access with awkward acting" theme of shows
Gone are venture bros, boondocks, etc...replaces with this stuff.
