Zenimax must be proud if themselves, they are like on fire when they talk about the game in interviews, and what i have seen now seems to be complete shit in every way (looks even more shitty than F2P el cheapo MMOs). Dunno but that video really removed all my interest against this game, i hope Wildstar wont disappoint (that could be pretty good). Why the hell they even make these shit MMOs (Neverwinter etc...), its just waste of time and money

Damn, I expected it to suck, but not to such a grand scale. There's no atmosphere whatsoever, the combat system is hideous, the animations suck, there's no depth..basically just like any recent MMO released these days. I'll stay away from this just like I've completely ignored that Neverwinter travesty that no one asked for but it had to be done because hurr durr!
You have got to be kidding me? This must be like a pre-pre-pre alpha build surely? I mean, I wasn't expecting Skyrim MMO, but this reminds me of the graphics from early DAoC - and that was better!!
FYI EQ2 looks pretty damned good for a what, 8 year old game engine?

the link for mega always stops at 97%, so i guess nobody here actually saw real HD quality video, but only that crappy low res version (and yeah, i saw the 1080 link, but just playing it in 1080 doesn't makes it such).
The one thing i surely noticed from that gameplay video, is the cheap ass way it was recorded. You can barely see any details or anything. So GL already judging its graphics from that rofl.
I'd wait for some proper video, before going all derp on it lol.

What budget did this have? 50+ million I think I read somewhere? Where did all that money go I wonder. (Voice acting?)
But I'll still play it most likely. I played (and still do) games that look much worse, and have just as dull combat - at least combat gets a bit better when players progress judging on what was said. If there is a decent character progression that's all that matters to me. However I doubt that. Still should be enough to kill a few dozen hours.
The graphics look worse than the ones in Age of Conan. And that's an almost 5 year old game.

I even agree, it doesn't look anything special, heck, it outright looks cheap, in some respects. But it doesn't look "bad". The graphics are coherent and the whole artwork is just fine.
When it comes to combat, it seems to be the same as in TES games, so i don't see whats so bad about that ... it being TES online and all.
Personally, i doubt this will be something i'll be playing, mostly because the whole fantasy genre has been exploited to death and i can't stand it anymore.
Ah.. How I remember leaving the first sewer in Oblivion... Just stood there 5 minutes looking around absorbing those amazing graphics... I was somehow excited when I found out the tower in the distance wasn't some background texture.. One of those rare moments in gaming..
can't imagine they will. I mean ... it has been shown in the last 10 years, that 99% of pay2play mmo's fail (and most fail miserably). And i think devs and publishers should have understood by now, that its pointless to try to ride wow's (or lineage2 i guess) coat tail of making a lot of money with subscriptions.
MMO's either go buy to play, which i prefer, or f2p (which i hate, because it really ruins the games imho).
Either way, i rather mod the shit out of skyrim and give it another go, then to waste money on yet another mmo with orcs and elves
